  • What is the difference between the Gold Class Cinema and the regular one, I guess there are more comfortable seats, anything else?

Experience Gold Class, a cinema that's in a class of its own and a world apart from the rest - an intimate setting that seats no more than 30-40 people.

Whilst you relax in this first class cinema setting, try our new taste menu offering a wide variety of dishes such as canapés and cocktails, dips and desserts, platters and pizza, wraps and wedges and a bar menu to satisfy all tastes.

There's waiter service too. You can arrange to have your order delivered to your seat at a time specified by you or relax in the lounge setting of the Gold Class Bar.

    • There are only about 50 seats in a gold class. There big recliners. They bring your food out at whatever time you ask for it. Hot meals, cheese platters, Spirits, Wine. Normally about $35 a ticket.

  • Does anyone know if there is any limit to what days of week the ticket can be used, eg: is Friday and Saturday excluded?

    • i don't believe there are any restrictions as you're buying a general admission (full-price) ticket to get the free upgrade

  • I'm assuming you can just keep buying icecream and keep going back?

  • I've been waiting for this. Never been to Gold Class :D

  • Gold Class is the way to go, but it's pretty expensive especially when you factor in food and drink, but for a special occasion GO FOR IT…

    Cheers,

  • $12 for a bowl of wedges in gold class - need I say more?

    :)

    • Yeah, food & drink are pretty exy.
      Try the nachos for value.
Last time we shared a seafood basket which was a good feed and very tasty.
Ask for a blankie, even if you don't want one… It's soooo decadant to be waited on hand and foot!

      Cheers,

    • wha-? I just checked and it's $9.50 for wedges!

      • supposed to be in response to Gav haha sorry.

  • I wonder if you could get away with buying a cinebuzz movie of the week ticket (this week is the Dark Knight) and then use the upgrade? I know it says standard ticket but it would be worth a try.

    • You can only ask.
They can't shoot you for trying!

  • I didnt know you could get blankies! I hadnt seen that before when I went to GC

    • Hey, if they're on offer in BrisVegas, I'm sure you can get one in cooler climes… Just ask. :)

  • Looking forward to Gold Class, I've heard the main difference is the service, food availability and comfortable chairs. I can't wait to experience GC :).

  • Gold, Gold, Gold for Australia…

Sorry, I got caught up in the moment!

  • Anyone used this yet? You don't HAVE to order food right?

    • SO it's $14.80 for adult ticket plus cost of the icecream….which is good in comparison with the normal $36 it costs for Gold Class. Anyone know if you can bring your own snacks in?

      • You don't have to by anything other than the ticket.
Discussion had been to point out the additional cost if you DO take the opportunity to use the catered dine/drink facilities of Gold Class.

        Cheers,
