    Was $34.90 last deal.

    • @rawm Just dropped to $39.95 on Amazon this morning (Camels price alert). Low enough for me to grab one based on below feedback.
Barbers prices seem to have gone through the roof this past year and I've had three very dodgy $10 'cuts' at the different budget/'pop up' places that have started appearing. Might as well go back to having a go myself.
Went through Shopback. Will report back later as I still find the categories confusing.

    Bought during aprevious deal
Good one, cut is better than a wahl one that I had (similar price). Also prefer Philips one being wireless.

Yeah, I got mine for under $30 (might have had a discount along with the cheap price) but it a good clipper. If you need one currently it is worth the fifty bucks, but can be gotten cheaper if you wait (perhaps).

Nov 11 was $39, Nov 27 was $34.90 on lightning deal. I got one then, it's brilliant.

  • Silly question but usable on dogs?

No chance id recon. Dog hair is a lot thicker / dense.

  • I have 2x 240V hair trimmers. I use it to cut my hair with the No2 attachment (I think it's 7 or 9mm) anyhow it really struggles to get through my hair first time, so I have to use the No4 then work down to the No2. It's not like I have thick hair, my friends love to point out that I'm going thin on top. Anyhow when I get my No2 crew cut at the barber he mows threw my hair with his cordless and apparently really expensive hair clipper. So to those that own or have used this Philips Hair Clipper Series 5000 do you think that it would cut threw normal to thinning hair on the first run with the No2 comb?

    • My hair is on the thick hair side, but this clipper is very good. Wouldnt see it having troubles with your type of hair

It was $47 on Amazon for the last 3 weeks. Hold out for $37 if you can.

It's a good product at $50 BTW. Excellent at $37

  • I got it during Amazon lightning deal, use it to cut my son's hair. Brilliant, works flawlessly, love it.

  • would this be hard to fade/blend with as it has no taper?

also how does this compare to the 7000? can't seem to find any obvious differences

    cheers!
