80

I just picked up a Bosch SMS68M02AU, white, for $1079 from the Good Guys advertised online at $1226.
They priced matched E & S trading.

Not everone will rush out, but after spending many hours comparing Meile, Asko and Bosch, The extra discount got the Bosch.
So if you are lookig for a new Dishwasher, its worth considering.

It seems that Appliances online will pricematch with free delivery also

At least the wife is now happy…..Happy wife, happy life. :)

  • Is a price match a bargain?

    • It's a saving of about $100, useful I guess if you need a dishwasher, it's a top notch brand.

      • Saved $147 off GG Sale price. (about 12%)

    • Price matching is not a bargain.

If the OP changes the title to $1079 from E & S, and write in the post that he used it for price matching at GG, then it will be acceptable.

        Title updated.

  • If you don't want your old appliance order from Appliances online as they will remove the old unit free of charge.

    • why didn't you buy it from E&S Trading?

      • Too far to drive to E&S and if you check the website "item by special order" so nil stock.
I needed to show the wife an actual Bosch unit, in case it "wasnt suitable"
Much easier to do the deal in person as i had checked online that GG had stock instore and only a quick drive from home to store
After 6 months of a broken 17 year old Kleenmaid dishwasher, it was time to update.

        • You'd be lucky to get anyone to price match if they don't have stock.

        • @wxy234, the poor B/W photocopy i had of the E&S webpage doesnt reproduce orange very well.
Suffice to say that the "nil stock" was very hard to see. :)

I have the similar smu68. So quiet I can hear myself think. After having the cutlery draw at the top I can never go back - fast and so much extra space for pots. My back-up dishwasher loves it! But…I reckon you could haggle this price down in store.

    • After spending too may hours researching prices/brands/models etc i was happy if they matched the price and had stock so i could bring it home and just "plug" it in.
The store screen showed $1079 as "below cost" (before rebates i guess) and "best price" from $1226 was $1150.

    • I got my SMU68 late 2010 for $1060 delivered by price matching this: http://whrl.pl/RcoCqn
Might still work, except I think Clive Peeters is no more?

  • mind posting the receipt from GG?

  • No doubt it is good, but still kind of pricey. Can anyone recommend any good deals for dishwashers for approx $600?

  • Appliances online will only match including the delivery cost.. which means for those in NSW its another $99 ($1178)

Might give some local GG/BingLee's a try tonight as a new dishwasher is needed
