Clear Top Canvas Storage Bags $25 (Was $45) Delivered @ Cooee Canvas

1680

So, many people have been asking for repeat prices from our launch offer so we have decided to reduce the price of the clear top canvas storage bags back down to $25. Caravan and camping shows have been cancelled across the state (NSW) for the rest of the year and we now have excess stock ready to go. These ones are made by our Victorian manufacturing partner from the highest quality materials available and are ready to post this week direct from us in Springwood, NSW. $25 is a great price and doesn't leave us with much change after postage so if you're thinking of getting a few down the track consider ordering now so we can combine postage as it would be doing us a huge favour.

Again, any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

  • Hi

What's ur warranty on the items

    • +1

We’ve only ever had one fail on us but we’re happy to replace anything with issues.

    • +2

Aldi ones for $19.99 on specials from today.
      https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-sat-28-…

      • +8

mmmmm giant multi national or an Aussie in a fairly niche market…

Oh and they seem to be knock-offs of knock-offs. I'll stick with OP.

        • I also prefer to support local businesses however if the quality is comparable then sometimes it’s just a matter of convenience. I can review the item in person, assess it against my needs and then I always have the option of easy returns if bought at a local ALDI store. Unlike some businesses where returns are difficult and costly e.g. asked to send photos, pay return postage, etc.

        • +1

          knock-offs of knock-offs of knock-offs of knock-offs……

The original version of this concept was from a man called Jimmy in Perth WA
          who owns GRABMEGEAR.

Ever since then it's been knock-offs of knock-offs!
Even KINGS done it with absolute crap cheap canvas, zips etc etc like everything else they do.

As they say buy cheap buy twice…or three times.

GRABMEGEAR, spend the extra and get gear that will OUTLAST any of the knock-offs of knock-offs out there!

  • grabbed a couple :) thanks guys

  • You can get 4 x these from 4wd Supercentre for 99 delivered. Are these the same bag rebranded?

    • +33

Support a small company rather than 4wdsupercentre. They steal Australian designs and then send them overseas to be made in China for cheaper.

      • More than happy to support local. Just clarifying if it is the same product.

        • +2

Further to my last comment, i have looked at both products and this seems to have a few better options. I have grabbed a couple as well. Thx

    • +9

Please don’t mention that name around here haha… we’re yet to have a Facebook group dedicated to our poor products unlike some so we’re doing ok.

      • So you're saying 100% without any doubt that you are not affiliated and do not produce or sell products from the same manufacturer than the king's junk?

        • +5

100% - We have a post dedicated to it on our website.. These bags are competing with them for sure but when you have them side by side the differences are obvious..

          • @cooeecanvas: Great news. Just ordered one. Don't really need it in the drawers in my new setup, but might add a little versatility. If it's good when I receive it might order one or 2 more.

            • +1

@AndyRoo: What drawers are you running? I had a stack of them in my Hilux (Drifta Drawers) and they fit well, but wouldnt mind knowing some dimensions of some of the other manufacturers so we can tailor some bags to fit.

              • @cooeecanvas: Just the stock titans. Got a free set from a old setup I'm going to build into a Navara tub in the next few weeks. They aren't the best but free is free, and while I have them in pieces I'll check everything over.

                • +1

@AndyRoo: Ah no stress, yea these bags were made from those dimensions as they're the most popular ones at the moment so not to worry. They should fit well.

    • I have both, only got the supacentre one free with a generator, can tell you they are crap compared to these. The zip is actually usable and zips close.

  • Hi Rep. If you could make the offers on the checkout page clickable that'd be good. Needs details to accept.

    • Sorry mate, unfortunately the app we use doesn’t allow that unless we’re doing something wrong.

Which are these so many people?

    • +23

It's the thing when it be

    • +1

      Me no English.

    • +2

I think it’s saying. Why are these so popular ?

      • I may have misread a comma in the original description. Oops.

  • Ordered a couple. Thanks guys.

  • -7

Looks very similar to Adventure Kings one:

    • +4

did you even read the above comments mate?

    • +18

      Eww gross!

    • All's cool. I was just asking.

  • I ordered from these guys last time. A+ quality and service

    • +1

      Thanks mate

  • bought 2, thanks OP.

  • +2

I don't go camping, I don't even go picnicking. But damn why do I want one of these so bad

  • Bought the $50 duffel bag. Im no expert, but the quality of the stitching seems pretty poor

    • +1

Really? Please shout out via email and send some photos so we can make sure there wasn’t a problem.

    • Not $50 now unfortunately.. had my eye on them since their introductory price of $60. Been waiting for it to go back to that price so I can bite the bullet..

  • Bought 2 for Dad. Thanks for the deal guys!

  • Looks great! I bought 2 to store sand pegs and ropes etc so hopefully they’re good for that purpose.

    • You would have been better to get the 3 pack without clear tops I think.

NVM, they were $60 but have gone up in price somewhat.

  • Got a few from the previous deal. Top-notch quality and excellent service.

  • +4

Oh I forgot to mention, we have a handful of T-Shirts we're selling for just above cost due to sizing issues. If you add both a clear top bag and one of the "fresh tee's" to the cart, the shirt should automatically reduce by 50% bringing it down to $15.

They run a touch smaller than I would have liked, you could probably call them slim fit. I really should have tried them on first but just ran with it.

    • Thanks OP, you had me at "made in Australia."
Picked up two totes and a t-shirt.
Then added two stubby holders and a mini tote in the cheekie bargain bin after paying.
Sorry it came through in 3 seperate orders.

Do you pick up that they're going to the same address, or do I need to send through the order numbers to combine them in the same delivery?

      • +1

Hey mate, thanks for your support. Yea we'll be combining postage, its a bit annoying on our end that they come through separately but theres no way around it at the moment. We'd be losing money on them otherwise the way postage costs in AUS are going.

  • Thanks OP. Bought

  • Not sure when I'm ever gonna use it, but bought anyways!

    • Thanks legend.

  • Bought a couple to try! Thank you :)

  • 1st time comment.Just curious as i cant find the size of bag. Storerep Can you please help?

    • Sure mate, 410L - 250W - 150D MM (I will hesitantly use the word approximated here because there can be minor variations)

  • How do these compare to the ones on sale at Aldi today

    https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-sat-28-…

    • +6

Damn you Aldi, why today of all days?

      • Any chance you will be making a cover for a Honda EU10i generator?

        • Not at the moment, we're too small an operation to make and carry stock for specific models. We do "made to order" but these are more expensive and will take me longer to throw together. As an indicator, I recently made a cover for my own bushfire pump using premium canvas (due to being outside 24/7) something like that would set you back $150, cheaper canvas probably $100.. No screen printing either for these ones.

    • Aldi ones are great, picked up 5 of them last year and toured for 4 months no issues. Got the compressor and recovery bag today. Great value with lots of extra pockets.

    • +11

I'd pay $5 more for delivery and made in Australia.

    • Not gonna lie. The ALDI ones look EXACTLY like the kings products with the double straps where as these bags from OP have the extra strap along the side and the zips look a tad better quality.

  • Grabbed four of them for my partners new Prado. Thanks.

    • I need a partner like you…

  • Great company great products, just grabbed 2 more, great value, cheers.

  • Nice, I got one.

Was looking at the Kosciuszko Down Sleeping Bag (-5 Deg) as well but I got a bit confused with the temperature rating. I saw from the pictures that they were made by Naturehike, but for the fill weights you list in the drop-down tab, it looks like you have the 2c rated bag, not the -5c rated one. Otherwise $249.00 for a -5c down sleeping bag is mint.

Thanks for alerting us to this, I will have to change this.. I personally own one of these and I must say, it is hands down the warmest sleeping bag I have ever owned. After spending hundreds of dollars on the bigger more popular brands, I took a punt on one of these and was not disappointed.

  • Bought 2. Very tempted by the limited time specials afterwards too, but want to try these first.

    • Funny, great minds…. Bought 2. Tempted by the specials but want to see how these look. Haha.

Just setting up a 4x4 for touring. Seeing what is any good of my 20yr old stuff when I used to go camping and replacing with new stuff.

I rekon these will be perfect and made in Vic.

  • What's included in the fathers day #3 pack. Is it these bags or the mini as I can't find the small in description

    • Hi mate, they’re the small / mini clear bags.

      • Hey are the two large explorer bags the same size as these clear top ones?

  • I have ordered a collection of these and the duffle bag for my landcruiser. Amazing quality. Cannot reccomend highly enough. Using them camping as I post this….. camping and on ozbargain….I need help

    • Camping…. Sigh… I wish we had the luxury here in NSW at the moment. Thanks for the great feedback, glad you’re happy with everything.

  • Ordered 2.
Was about to get an order of 4, when realised I already had four from a previous order.
Can't remember how much I paid for them previously, so 6 in total should be ok.

  • Are all your products made in Australia or just a select few

    • +1

Bags are made locally, some other items are imported

  • Got two of these to put camping supplies in the back of my ute.

I'd love to see a special on the Kapooka Duffle Bags. My kids keep borrowing my old ech bag and I'd like to get a couple of them.

  • I have absolutely no need for these. bought 2. thanks OP happy fathers day to me I guess. lol

  • Got the father's day #3 special. Are the two large explorer bags the same size as these clear top canvas ones? Cheers @cooeecanvas

  • +1

I bought the $50 duffel bag from these guys. It's currently in use on our getaway on the Gold Coast. I love it. It's sturdy, strong, clearly well made, and well worth the money, particularly to support an Australian company. Just need them to make an overnight bag,

    • Thanks mate, glad you're happy with it. We certainly have to do an overnighter, any features you would hope to see? Im a fan of simplicity so I was thinking just one big compartment, more or less a smaller version of the kapooka.

      • A mini version of the kapooka is it, exactly, and I agree on the simplicity.

  • Thanks. Ordered 4 of these and 4 of the Kapooka. I'll pass the word about the sale

  • cheers.
got 2, would have got more but has a limit on it now.

    • You may have possibly ordered the last two.

  • Would be keen on two when there's more stock!

    • Ive kept a cache of a few just incase.. Once I get these out i'll see how im going and post back, we also post updates on facebook / insta.

  • damn! Missed it!! :( If you have any more stock I'd love to buy a couple. (In Sydney). Are they semi-waterproof? Would the zipper corrode? Looking for something like this for my kayak camping setup….

  • +1

Curious what these clear top bags have over more solid plastic containers, especially when folding and packing away isn't required? I get the full canvas bags for strength but aren't the clear tops susceptible to being pierced, easily cut and tearing along the stitching?

  • had to measure before buying but just went to order and sold out damn!

  • +1

Any chance you would want to run this promo again?

  • +3

G'Day everyone, we had quite a busy weekend packing and preparing orders. We have shipped quite a lot of orders out already, in fact, the post office wouldn't take all my parcels so I had to run around to a few different LPO's to lodge these. Those that weren't lodged today will be lodged tomorrow so you should see your tracking number reflect that shortly. Also, we have tried to combine postage wherever possible, a few slipped through to cracks, but if you only have one tracking number for multiple orders this means that it has been combined.

We have received quite a few inquiries from people who missed out on this deal, once all the orders are out and if we still have inventory I will post an update on facebook / instagram. Apologies if you have sent an email or message we have been flat out and I will get back to you ASAP.

    Cheers,
    CC

    • sounds like an ozbargain happy ending!
