The USB Hub is not compatible with Google Chromecast TV.

    :'(

    • Thanks to user sapiens for letting me know.
These work great if all you need is a USB.

      https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/aw/d/B07ZCWQ89L?ref=ppx_pt2_mob…

You'll need a beefier PSU then stock (supply your own or buy one) if you plan to run anything more than 1 basic USB drive or you notice lag/issues.

Want a multipurpose dock that works with supported USB C laptops - pickup a refurb wd15 dell dock with psu for 60 from eBay.

Need similar dock to this - user in the last thread about haribol advised the novoo ones worked for them.

      • I want .. RJ45 Ethernet.

      • can i plug in this hub to the dual display hub here by Haribol to my laptop without any lag? I have a HP probook 435 G8 R3 16GB RAM

  • Note that if you’re using both HDMI ports, you won’t get better than 1080P from each. So if you bought a 1440 tall 27” Dell like I did, you can’t use it and your old 1080.

I don’t think this is a problem with this specific hub – you need thunderbolt if you want to run two monitors above 1080 (or maybe it’s 1186 max, it’s just not 1440)

I have a Macbook Air M1 - could I use this to supply two external displays?

  • I was looking into getting one of these yesterday, thanks for pointing out this deal! Just picked up the cheaper one for $31.41 with free shipping.

You need to have a usbc in your computer for this right? If I plugged this in via a usbc to usb adapter it wouldn't work?

    • Only USB ports and SD card will work

Only 100mbps on the 4K60 HARIBOL. There’s another identical looking product with Gigabit: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/656857

Bought dual HDMI 8-in-1 on a previous deal, at same price. Lost in the AusPost vortex, was refunded by Amazon before it turned up a few days later.

Tested and works great for multiple HD external screens on a Lenovo Legion and Surface Book. Didn't have anything higher res to test it with.

  • Strange name. Haribol(locks) ?
