  • 16gb in title but 8gb in description. Which is it?

    • +4

It says X2 at the end

      • +10

Looks like great value with 2X the GPU as well!

  • +7

Great budget PC for what is going. This card fits between 3060 and the ti version right?

    • Depends on the game but yeah, generally between the 3060 and 3060 ti

  • No options to swap for wifi mobo or add wifi adaptor?
I remember all pre-built already preloaded with unactivated Win10, right?

  • +1

Not too bad when you consider the GPU alone is $800-ish

    • +3

Yeah worked out most of all these prebuilt deals are like GPU + $500 = full system

  • Whats the cooling like on this case? Need a pc for sim racing

    • +6

      It should be cromulent.

    • +1

Looks like garbage. No top fans, though for a small case like this it isnt uncommon. Front intake has got a huge panel obsctructing it with small vents on top and bottom.

    • +1

Airflow on this case is garbage but the components shouldn't be putting out that much heat.
My mate runs it without the front panel.

    • +1

Looks bad ,but none of these components run that hot.

    • IMO for this sort of built just about any case will do cooling wise.

What i would be more worried about and would throw a tiny bit more money at would be to get a mobo with VRM cooling and stick any cheap tower cooler on the CPU. That mobo and stock cooler keep downclocking.

Personally i went with the msi b560m pro. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/184912229603
      and a GAMMAXX400k https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B077Q4DZVY/

my 11400 can stay at 4.4Ghz easily and temps are no issue in some crappy old matx case i had laying around.

Oi, bring back the Kraken laptop deal ya mong.

    • isn't that still on? same price, just checked

      • The 1599 is OOS apparently.

        • 1499 is also plenty good if not even better for fps

  • Any higher end deals coming soon? @storerep

  • +2
    • I'm also keen on this deal, any chance on it coming back?

  • +1

I'm seeing the trend and I'm liking it.

  • This one is pretty fair and overall a good deal. I had 1 prebuilt from BPC and things went pretty smooth (even though i sold most of the parts except CPU, GPU and RAM) =))
Wait time is around 2 weeks from my own expeieicen

  • Just ordered one this morning. Looking forward to this arriving in the coming week

  • not bad

  • +1

Wonder will they happy to ship the build together with the GPU box too? In case future upgrade, can sell this GPU with its box too. Will be more than happy with the RX6600XT now for casual gaming.

  • Shame this doesn't have a 12th gen CPU otherwise would've bought.

  • Any chance of scrapping the 1TB spinning disk and perhaps replacing the 500GB NVME with a 1TB ?

  • Looking for a system to use specifically for streaming content from a capture card. I know the GPU is overkill but how would the rest of the system perform? I was initially looking for something exactly like this with an AMD CPU, and possible some better cooling through the case

    • I know with streaming it's usually recommended you go with an nvidia card because the nvenc codec can help take the load off the CPU (particularly in lower/mid range systems) when encoding the stream.

  • +1

I would actually bite this if there was an upgrade option to 6700 XT.

  • Two questions, Why does it say free shipping for over $150 yet when i have to choose an option its either $20 for Aramex (Covered with up to $1500 insurance) or auspost for $80? it's clearly a part of the deal just going by the name.

Second i heard that 6600xt can be worth it for mining? i don't really plan to do it, but it might keep some value if that's the case.

    • Title says "$1299 + Delivery" not "free shipping".

    • You missed out the little fine prints saying 'excluding bulky items' in the lower corner

  • Hi folks
Consider a built running smootly Illustrator ahd light gaming ( COD , PES , MAFIA… )

    is rx6600 enough ?

  • Yes, more than enough.
