I like Bega simply nuts, some of the best peanut butter I've had that doesn't contain any extras. I think it's up there with Pic's.

Yer gotta be the Crunchy, smooth is so uncrunchy

Might be cheaper to add your own nuts, true ozbargin style 😂

  • Is it strawberry spread because they can't legally call it jam? :)

Isn't this just the normal price ($0.83/100g) as the smaller 780g jar?
Also if you want crunchy you can get the save 5% if you buy 5, Totals 3.9kg of Peanut butter! LOL

      Greater carbon footprint that way.

    • Thanks for sharing this! Exactly what I was about to look up. Will await those going on sale.

Knowing Amazon, this will likely be short dated.

    • Is this product ever long dated? I've picked this up at Coles a couple of times before and it's always short dated there too.

Not that it matters, it's peanut butter. When the nukes drop all that will remain are the cockroaches and peanut butter.

It is not cheap by any standards. E.g. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/682155 this was cheaper for a better quality butter in glass jars. No point buying this.

  • Pffft

Skippy at Costco is $9-10 (sometimes on sale for ~$7) for 1.8kg. it's also nicer than Bega stuff.

    • Skippy is an American brand of peanut butter spread manufactured in the United States and China.

  • according to camelx3 it is normally this price since feb 2020
also suspicious that they cant call it jam. 63.9g of sugar per 100gm ….mmmmmm wholesome goodness

  • This peanut butter (the standard Bega variety, not the 'Simply Nuts' range) has only 85% peanuts… avoid.
