Cruuuuud i was tossing up between this one on Friday night for $340 on the education store and another one, but ended up ordering the more budget screen😭

  • I bought D32q-20 from OW at the same price.

    • Says $397 for D32q-20 at OW at the moment - keen to get it at $299 if I could - how did you get $299 mate?

    • Me too, but I find the QHD not quite enough on the 32". I've since upgraded to UHD/4k 32" and find it much nicer to use on my WFH setup.

      • +1

        Which uhd di you get?

Any good docking station to go with this?

    • I'm using this one, and doing it's job perfectly till now:
      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08QZHM7XQ

      • The refresh rate seems pretty low for the dock.

        • Yeah, was using 2 fhd monitors, mainly for WFH. I just realized that I won't be able to use this with new qhd monitor. I need to look up for different one. Any recommendations?

  • How does this compare to the M1 iMac 24 inch screen?

    • +1

iMac far better in every aspect, except refresh rate

      • And price. Would rather two of these and a Mac Mini any day of the week

  • Lenovo, Acer and Asus all still trading with Russia.

    • +1

      Good to know.

    • +2

      Acer has reportedly pulled out.

      https://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-Acer-Asus-disregard-U-S…

Asus said they were pulling out last month so I don't know why there's claims they're still trading there, unless some new details have come to light.

      https://www.tomshardware.com/news/asus-confirms-halt-of-russ…

The main one who seems to be clearly operating there is lenovo, who still has a Russian store page up.

edit: The source seems to be this Yale report which doesn't go into any detail from what I can see: https://som.yale.edu/story/2022/over-600-companies-have-with…

      • +6

Not really surprising that Lenovo is still in Russia as they are a Chinese company.

    • +5

      So?

    • +6

      Thanks, just bought two more.

      • Thanks, just bought two more.

Why? Only to supports a company that supports Russia by trading with it?

        • +1

I hope your also actively boycotting Israeli products??
Do you even know the history there?
My advice is to stop this hypocrisy my friend and educate yourself.

          • @Thatsgold:

My advice is to stop this hypocrisy my friend and educate yourself.

Educating myself everyday! Those reports about mass executions, marauding and rape (including minors!) by Russian soldiers in Ukraine are quite eye opening. A true face of Russia, finally revealed.

Boycotting Russia economically isn’t going to help Ukrainians. It’s misguided at best and malicious at worst.

  • seriously wondering if I can still get 16:10 monitors but in 2k, 27inch or 24inch. I need the height to go vertical

    • What about 16:18?
      https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b4S5ruT_xX4

How far up do you need to go?

      • That looks good, but seems to be quite expensive. I have a 24inch 16:10 from dell, works very well vertically, but only on 1080p… would be great if I can find a 2k version with same specs. Thanks by the way.

Anyone know if the picture is as good or better than a Dell S272D QHD?

    • +1

I'm curious too. Rtings seems to think not, but I'm not sure if that gives the whole picture (sorry).

      https://www.rtings.com/monitor/tools/compare/lenovo-q27q-10-…

      • +1

        gives the whole picture

Yeah, the q-10 is a very slightly different monitor and has 300 nits, whereas this is the q-30 with 350 nits so it might be much closer to the Dell if rtings did a retest.

  • +1

Surely the Dell Ebay sales are a better option?
    3 years warranty…..27inch 4k at $369 (but 60hz)?
Or the 27inch curved DWG (165hz, etc…if it is $299 again or $336)?

Assuming the price stays the same…I am waiting on the next Dell sale to see what comes up, unless something comparable/better specs/price pops up from someone else

    • +3

Dell ebay 20% promo is better value, if you can wait for next promo.

      • Yeh I need to get a couple of dells to match my current

Hopefully it will happen sooner than later

27 Inch, 3-side near-edgeless display with QLD resolution

Can I just QLD res in NSW?

  • Gigabyte M27Q is the better choice.

  • Hi all. I’m looking for a curved 34 inch work monitor. Can anyone recommend any good deals.

I like this Lenovo , but it’s little small and I hear the curve is easier on the eyes…
    Thanks

    • Get the xiaomi 34 inch curved?

  • Good monitor? Good price?
