Weber Spirit II E310 BBQ Grill $799.20 Delivered @ Weber eBay

340
SAVE20A

Original Coupon Deal

Was in the market for a new bbq and just bought this. I picked this over the Weber Q 3200 because its larger, looks more permanent, can indirect cook, better build. It's not the cheapest its ever been, but is a good price imo.

I have a Weber Family Q and regret not getting this, good price!

  • +3

Damn you OzBargain… you made me get a Family Q, now this is posted. Arggg!

  • Great bbq!

  • Recently bought the E320 to replace my trusty babyQ. It’s been amazing, particularly ability to indirect cook. Highly recommend it if similar priced to a FamilyQ.

    • How's the side burner? Can you use it to cook on a wok or deep fry in a cast iron pot?

      Only have induction indoors

      • +1

I have the E320 as well. Side burner get used a lot to prepare sauce or deep fry. Keep in mind that you wont be able to fit a big pot because of the lid.

      • +1

Like Amer said, the size of the pot is limited by the lid on the side burner. But I’ve made sauce on mine or have boiled on it before.

NEW Weber K45012224 Spirit II E320 Black LPG BBQ $884 from Appliances Online ebay store just to make your choice harder!

    • Dang just need a 15% off on top of it…

      Fingers crossed hahaha

    • I can't wait to upgrade to the Spirit II series, the reviews are so good!
My Family Q is still going strong after I can't remember how many years (at least 6?) so I don't need to upgrade urgently.

      • I have an E320. Amazing BBQ, but I’d be expected to say that as I haven’t much experience with BBQs!

It can get frighteningly hot, which I take to mean it’s super powerful (which is good for searing).

It’s also very compact for a BBQ, and the tray on one side folds down to save even more space.

        • Similarly limited in experience with bbqs, and I view the E310 as amazing as well. Purchased at the end of the last year, have used it a couple times per week over summer. Gets hot quickly, bit of an adjustment for me cooking with the hood down.

Big when cooking for just me, decent size for cooking for 6 or so people.

    • Aside from the extra side burner, is there any other difference between the E310 and E320? I've looked on the weber site and its not easy to tell.

      • +1

        That’s the only difference.

        • Have you found the side burner very helpful? Trying to figure out if the E320 is worth waiting for on another sale later this year

          • @G Wok: It’s nice to have but we could do without it. Depending what you normally cook.

            • @adamk287: I'm a BBQ novice, so just getting it for the usual use case. But the idea of the extra burner for an item which I hopefully won't replace for 5-10 years. Is the side burner just an extra hot plate to fry stuff on?

    • I prefer E320

    • +1

Just tried to order and it wont deliver in Sydney post codes
"Unfortunately, this seller won't post to your location. Please update your delivery address and try again."

    • E320s are all sold out.

Worth waiting for it for the side burner? Or just get the E310? I'm keen to get into the BBQ scene and avoid smoking up the house

    • Just about to buy and they dont ship to melbourne :(

      • The 320? Same for me

    • +1

Damn was ready to buy but they're now out of stock (more expected in July). So now I can save $80 and lose the side burner, or just keep my old Jackeroo going 🤔

      • July!? Dang

  • +1

$800 for a small bbq is a bargain?

    • Yes?

    • I wouldn't call this small either.

      • It's only three burner, I'd call that small as well. Trying to understand why this is a bargain when you can get a 4-6 burner with side burner elsewhere cheaper.

Is this a deal just for the brand or is there some amazing feature we're missing out on?

I'm wondering whether to replace my 12 year old $300 4 burner, or just buy a new drip tray (damn you rust).

        • +3

That's kind of like saying "that Mercedes is half the size of my Kia - that's no bargain".

Weber is seriously "buy once, buy right". I've had 4 BBQ's over the years and the 2 Webers I have are far and away the best in every way.

          • @tonydav: I've had my 4 burner beef eater for about 10 years and it still works as it did new, they are about the same price but larger and offer more features.

So just questioning what makes this better than, for instance, the beef eater to justify getting less space and functionality for similar/more cost.

            • @[Deactivated]: The only way to answer your question is to eat a steak cooked on a Weber then eat a steak cooked on a regular BBQ

    • You need to do more research into understanding what a quality BBQ is beyond how they look.
Those shiny $300 6 burner bbqs at bunnings are not in the same league as this.

      • +1

If you've got any personal experience as to why it'd be great to know.

My ~$300 Kmart/BigW model is still cooking great 12 years later (4 burner + side, hood + cabinet) and does 3-400 degrees with everything cranked.

That said, it's had its day and I want to be upsold, would be good to hear some Pros/Cons to convince the OzBargainer in me.

        • I've found it much easier to clean than a cheaper barbeque. My cheaper bbq also rusted pretty quick. Consistency of heat across the whole bbq is also better. Weber support if something goes wrong is superb with a very long warranty. Also just feels more solid and looks better in my opinion as it's made from heavier duty materials.

  • How to prevent snails from lurking to the BBQ unit?

    • Sit the feet on risers?

    • Try that snail tape around the legs and near any other surfaces they might climb onto the bbq from

  • Can this be detached and sit on a counter in it's own?

    • No. It’s all build into the trolley. Have a look at the Q2200 if you want it to stand on the counter by itself.

  • If I'm not mistaken these have 10 year replacement guarantee on parts vs 5 years on q series (due to lack on flavorizer bars on q series that apparently protect the burners)

  • Can you get hot plates for these?

    • INCLUDES HEAVY DUTY PORCELAIN-ENAMELLED, CAST-IRON HOTPLATE

From their website, wonder if the Ebay store is the same 🤔

    • +1

It comes with full size grate and one side hot plate. So you can mix and match.

  • What's a good 4 burner Weber?

    • +1

You’ll have to go for the Genesis range, like the E-415

    • +1

Something to keep in mind is that the Webers have a lot more usable area than most cheap gassers. On my last BBQ it was hot at the base and noticeably cooler at the end away from the controls. With my Genesis it's even everywhere so you find you don't need a BBQ as big as previously.

  • Is there a natural gas version on eBay? I can't seem to find it

  • +2

I've got this BBQ, good piece of kit. Luckily I purchased 364 days ago and have applied for price protection from credit card to claim back about $100!
    Thanks OP!

    • price protection for a year??

  • I haven't bought a BBQ before would this be a good entry point? Also sorry if it's a stupid question but this takes the gas cannisters, it doesn't need to be hard wired into the house gas system does it? Thanks in advance

    • Not a stupid question. It does cost ~$800, so it may be a waste if you don't end up using it. Otherwise, this is an amazing bbq that handily beats the cheaply made Bunnings and BBQs Galore models. Mine hasn't arrived yet, but from reading reviews the build quality is incredible and should easily last over a decade, it also has a 10 year warranty. The bbq uses propane (like from a swap & go bottle), there are other Weber models that can be used with natural gas from a house, but this one can't.

      • Cheers mate I really appreciate the reply.

Anyone on the edge this old video helped me:

    https://youtu.be/mUPX-9zkMeA

    • Awesome thanks for the post.

I'm keen on th spirit but the E320 with the side burner seems more versatile with the extra cook area. Just not sure the E320 will be on sale any time soon

      • Yeah same, that's the one I was about to buy but sold out at appliance online eBay store :(

        • Did you get the E310? Still looks good for grilling and indirect cooking. Hundred bucks more for an extra side burner seems handy though

          • @G Wok: Nah I'm gonna keep forever waiting :S

Sonly have induction and would want to try and use for side burner for a wok/frying although tbf looks a bit restrictive for that.

            • @docmartin: Yeah something about the lid limits big pots on the side burner anyway?

  • Damn, coupon code expired overnight. Shouldn't have waited for Shopback withdrawals.

Annoying that ebay didn't list an end date for the deal.
