Is a 6 Month Delivery for a Product Normal with Catch.com.au ?

Hi all,

I purchased a couple of items from catch.com.au over the weekend. A pair of sneakers and a torch in separate transactions. I paid for express shipping for both items. I received the purchase confirmation email shortly after. 1 item has an expected delivery date of September 27th and the other has an expected delivery date of October 10th.

I've reached out to catch with an explanation. But is this type of timeframe normal? It seems ridiculous to be waiting that long especially since there was nothing in the listing alluding to such a lengthy time frame.

haha - do you really need to ask that? 🤣 Unless it's some item that's in high demand, get a refund and tell them to get stuffed.

No really, I know the scamdemic has munted a lot of delivery times up but not that bad.

    Courier must be Aramex…

      Catch + Aramex = 6 (months)

        For Express.

    • Relatable. Had a Aramex package going from Adelaide to Brisbane, took them 3 weeks. From the tracking data I had, looked like the driver got lost in the Simpson Desert.

      • Wasn't lost, just went via Camel.

        • Seems legit.

Placed my first order with Catch, and will likely be my last. After reading this thread I now appreciate I am possibly in for a wait… assuming it arrives at all. There's a reason the prices are cheap on catch.com.au and it seems it relates to the really poor delivery times.
