    Skin is plastic?

    • yes, even the plug is plastic. But it's durable. I have the USB 2.0 version with 16GB, >10 years old and it still works

  • These things break so easily. Treat as disposable if you hang them on a key ring.

Showing 12.99 now. 8.99 listing in other menu not adding to cart

    • It's now sold by sunwood-au

      • Edit: Can add 8.99 one to cart sold by Amazon Au now. But its delivery dates a few weeks from now. Will be back ordered, but amazon pretty quick to restock usually

        Does this still overheat?

        • Not 100% sure but if any issue, get Amazon to refund. For $10, they won't bother to get you send back as it would costs them more

I just bought one. if you need 128GB, even better value for under $18

        • Yes, and probably a lot more. Mine would only get 4MB/s in sustained writes because it would get so hot.

          • @Void: My old model one even disconnect itself. Need to plug into USB 2.0 port for stable file transfer.

        • i had one recently that overheated so much when transferring large files, it would throttle the write speed to a few MB/s, I just sent it back in the end and ordered one with a bigger form factor which got hot but still maintains OK write speed.

      • thanks, ordered one for NAS OS

      • Thanks for the link mate. Got this instead and cancelled the 3.0 one.
