I know this deal has been posted (thanks pba!) but I thought the 250gb deserved its own post for two reasons.

  1. The temptation to spend $15 more for that extra data is there, but remember that if you're not going to use it then it's literally $15 wasted.
  2. I wanted to make the community aware of a way to save an extra $17 (applicable to this deal, or the 500gb sim).

Here's how to do it

  1. Buy a $100 Dick Smith gift card and receive $15 bonus gift card.
  2. Create DS account, and apply $15 evoucher from Shopback under "coupons and credits"—>"evoucher".
  3. Buy Kogan sim deal via DS here (or here for 500gb).
  4. $15 credit will be applied at checkout, bringing the total down to $120 (or $135 for 500gb), and you'll have a handsome $2 cashback pending in your shopback account!

      You know, I actually didn't because I know I won't use it but I will use the 250gb. Also, when I bought the sim last month it actually applied 300gb when I activated it (not sure if this is the case for everyone).

      No, I went to purchase the $150 for 500GB and decided to check out what else Kogan offering and also went for 250GB. Yes, only $15 difference, but if you have Internet at home you are unlikely to use more than 20GB per month. Of course, everyone’s usage is different. Always best to check previous usage as an indication.

        $15 is $1.25 per month which is peanuts for an extra 250gb over 12 months. Useful for backup for any weekend trips or long holidays. Bus or train rides etc….

        Are you sure it's for new customers only? It lets me choose "I'm an existing customer I don't require a new SIM" when adding to cart.

        It also says "If you are already a Kogan Mobile customer, simply login to your account and use your voucher to recharge. Each voucher can be redeemed for a LARGE 365 Days Plan without any additional charge."

        I'm about to buy one but wanted to check.
