  • I bought this at $139. Very happy with it, great headset.

  • Dam .. bought this a few weeks ago from LTS as I gave up waiting for a deal .. paid more but am very happy with the quality of the audio, they don't block external noise as much as other headphones I've had though.

Only thing that is annoying is the way windows switches between the audio devices .. simplest option was to set the headphones as default and unplug the USBwifi when I didn't want to use them.

Nah man you are doing it all wrong! Start/Control Panel/Hardware Sound/Right click on Sound and click on create shortcut. Will paste to your desktop.

Now you just go in and right click and 'set default device' one the G930's when you need them. This is how I switch between my audio devices quickly.

Also you can go ahead and just disable any devices you don't use to cut down on the visible audio devices.

Don't sweat paying a few extra bucks as you have the advantage of easy warranty if there is a problem.

      • Yeah I know about that setting .. and you can get little tray icon apps that do basically the same thing too.. but simply pulling the dongle out of the side of my monitor is both quick and a obvious visual indicator that sound is going to the headphones (for those times when no sound is playing and you think the mute is not work).

Whats annoying is that simply powering off the headphones doesn't do the switching for me.

  • Got this set, love it. The fake surround works decently well, and the mic is solid. Good price too.

  • This is a really good headset, great sound, great mic for in game Voip.

You can even put your squad in stitches of laughter but giving commands in a Chipmunk voice, then change it to sound like SoundWave.

It can even block out wife jabber.

1 drawback is sweaty ears. I use this for Winter and summer G330 ( I know not even close but comfortable).

Can someone please answer this quick question, given I can't do excessive research at work:
It's USB, yes? Therefore it'd completely bypass the use of my soundcard? If so; Soundcard (colour-coded cables) vs USB?
    Thanks in advance!

Yes it is USB and yes it will bypasses your sound card completely. You install it as an additional device via the driver cd included and just switch to it as a listening device as per my post above. I run my pc speakers via a USB sound card and just switch back/forth as per my post above.

Great headset. I hate it when you want to buy an item and your unsure of its quality. Love ozbargain for the constructive comments. For movies and gaming this headset has excellent sound

    • Totally agree, I just went and purchased this.

Ive had my set for about 1 year. Only issue i have is the wireless connection cutting in and out about once every 8 hours or so for 1 sec…
and I have to hold the button down for 10-20 secs to turn them on depending on how the headphones are feeling. (this is very annoying)
    otherwise great quality set.

  • now why can Amazon sell and deliver this for less than LTS? come on LTS….

    • Probably because they sell as many in a week as LTS does in a year, and get a better bulk discount? you also dodge tax when purchasing through Amazon.

    !!!!WARNING!!!!

To all users.. you must note that these pair of headphones are Amazing.. but also VERY fragile..

usually, one of the headphones break off at the joint (swivel joint) That joint is really really weak..

My brother and I both owned a pair and both of us have had the same problem. he's broke within 3 months.. i took care of mine and it lasted 9 months..

read it up.. it is very common problem in the headphones

  • I got a two pair ages ago for partner and I. Can not recommend them enough. Wires are the enemy people!
Has anyone worked out how to have two pair headphones one computer yet?

  • Even cheaper now at $104.81 shipped.
