      USD$899 around AUD$1399.

        Apologies, url said AU site.

  • is it worth waiting for mi band 7 to drop in price or get mi band 6?

    • I didn't find the 7 much better than the 6. It has a bigger screen though which may benefit. Tracking is still as dodgy as each other.

      • I thought 7 has built in GPS but 6 doesn’t.

        • The 7 Pro has the built-in GPS.

        • I meant steps and sleep tracking.

    • is it worth waiting for mi band 7 to drop in price

You'll probably be waiting more than year for the 7 to get to this price.

    • +1

Had a mi band 6. It doesn't track heart rate during exercise well at all.

      • +1

The 7 doesn't do much better than the 6 when it comes to exercises involving more movement, although it's probably the best for the price.

  • +1

Do you have any deals on the Roborock S7 max series @Gearbite?

  • Anyone own the Roborock H7?

  • +3

Would strongly recommend not buying Roborock products on eBay (if not at all). I recently had an issue with the S7 which I bought under 12 months ago brand new from an eBay seller. Roborock didn’t want to know and said as the item was bought on ebay warranty does not apply.

In my experience Roborock products are good but if you have issues there are sales service is crap and they will be everything to avoid a warranty claim (opinion is based on issues I had with another product as well)

      • +7

you can claim warranty from manufacture directly.

shouldn't they be able to claim warranty directly from you, the retailer?

        • Assuming the ebay retailer is still in business.

        • This comment would put me off from buying from them as it seems like there is hesitation from them to comply with Australian consumer law regarding their obligation as a retailer

      • That’s what the last seller said on his sale. Now there is an issue he does not respond to any of my messages.

    • If you buy things in Australia, it's up to the retailer to sort out the warranty claim for you. There's no reason to go straight to the manufacturer.

  • Do you sell replacement batteries for these vacuums?

    • +1

I'd like to know that as well. These batteries usually would fall/degrade before any other parts.

And it's quite difficult to find a local supplier for it, which doesn't cost an arm and a leg..

    • From Aliexpress.

  • Any deal on the 3H purifier?

    • -3

      Sold out at this moment.

  • Does can the Q7 mop and vac at the same time and lift the mp like the s7? Or do you need to take the mop off to do rugs?

    • +1

I don't think so, only S7 and S7 MaxV can lift the mopping pad.

  • +3

Mi band out of stock already

  • @Gearbite, do you have any offers on Dreame H11 Max Wet and Dry Vacuum cleaner

  • +2

Avoid the Xiaomi G series of vacuums. Horrible quality control and impossible to get replacement batteries for. Dreame has much better support and replacement parts.

    • Have you tried to buy a Dyson battery lately?
Wait time on some models is six months.

      • +2

But plenty you can get that are non-OEM if you really need them. The G10/G11 have nothing.

Hence my suggestion to go the Dreame. There are parts everywhere.

    • +1

My g10 has been flawless for over a year now and I can find replacement batteries on eBay and aliexpress and a few other sites

EDIT: Actually you seem to be right on the batteries. Failures seem to be common. The only few replacements I can find available cost as much as a new vacuum! Wow! I hope mine stays reliable

      • Yep exactly the problem I had. Battery was dead, a new one was $150. For some reason there are no after market versions for this model, only OEM. Wished I bought the Dreame V11 instead of the G10.

        • But V11 has built in battery. If the battery is dead, so as the vacuum.

I had bad battery on new g10 as well but managed to get a replacement. I hope it stays ok.

  • +1

anyone have any experience differentiating the g11 and v11? my v9 battery has died and need a new vacuum.

    • Have V11 more just than a year and it's still fine.

    • Looking to replace our Dyson V6 absolute and trying to pick between the stick vacuums as well.

    • Motor on my v11 went just outside warranty.

  • +13

just fyi - always thought gb was an authorised reseller of dreame but seems actually not :/

For further clarity, please be advised the following websites are not related to Dreame:

    www.gearbite.com.au

We would also like to emphasise that the aforementioned websites have unauthorised use of Dreame's name and logo to represent official Dreame Australian products, and mislead Dreame consumers of selling official Australian models with local manufacturers warranty.

We are disheartened to acknowledge those in charge of the above operations are partaking in grey import activities, with the intent of misleading visitors and loyal customers of Dreame.

    taken from dreame's website

    • +3

Yikes! Great pickup. It seems GB are the only ones being called out for it. A page specifically for them!

    • Wow! Almost bought from them, thank you!

    • The V11 has AU version in the title of the listing.

      • +2

But you cannot provide batteries for the products you sell.

        • +2

Or even comment on a question about that apparently.

      • +3

That's bullshit. I bought Roborock from your store and it is broken after few months. I requested for fixing it and I was told to pay $150 for the new motherboard. I had no choice at that time, considering losing over $600. It is a big joke.

        • We won’t charge if under warranty . Can you send detail so we can check for you.

        • +3

Roborock normally handle your warranty if your robot still under warranty. If repair from us, We won’t charge $150 as well, will be under $99 which include return postage, resend postage, part and labor.

          • +1

@Gearbite: You need to freshen up on Australian Consumer Law. If an item breaks under warranty, it's your job as the retailer to organise a repair, replacement or refund, as well as pay for all shipping costs.

            • +3

@iseeyou1312: Yes, we only charge under $99 which include shipping cost and labor when warranty expired.

              • @Gearbite: That wasn't clear in the previous post but that's rather good customer service to offer ongoing repairs outside of the warranty period.

  • Any reason to consider the S6 MaxV over the Q7 Max? All the specs seem to be better on the Q7 Max and at a lower price.

    • S6 MaxV have AI Camera, so it has better avoid object ability.

  • Rep, do you sell replacement batteries for these vacuums?

    • We do sell Xiaomi G10, Dreame t20 battery.

      • What about G11 ?

        • No stock at this moment, will list once have stock.

          • +1

@Gearbite: Will you be getting v9 batteries back in stock ?

            • @mickq:

Will you be getting v9 batteries back in stock ?

Looks like they are trying to force people to buy a new vaccum every year or two rather than replace the batteries.

Why aren't the Teals and Greens onto this?

            • @mickq: Only have limited quantity for warranty at this moment. You need to contact our team to special order.

          • @Gearbite: When do you expect to have stock?

I can't find them anywhere and the G11 has been out for about 6 months already.

No point buying something if you need to replace the batteries after 12 months and you can't buy them as happened with the V9.

  • Q7 max versus Uoni V980Plus anyone?

  • +1

Is the robo s5 any good?
I had a dumb robot and want upgrade to a map and one which can mop.
    Please advice guys!

    • Yes.

    • +1

It’s probably the most well reviewed Roborock model of all time, albeit a few versions old now. Definitely still a good buy as it’s the best value unit you can buy.

There are newer models but they are all $1k+ and are only really worth it for the mopping capability.

      • Trying decide between the S5 max and the L10 pro. The S5 max seems tried and true, but the Dreame L10 pro seems to be better at obstacle avoidance.

        • I’ve personally found the S5’s LiDAR to work great. I’m not really sure how it could be improved to be honest.

    • I will say the vacuum work the best between all model since it’s using the brush instead of plastic roller. It’s even better than my s7.

  • Hi,

Could someone recommend a good-quality robo vacuum / mop? I'm looking for something that:
    - can work on a tile, wooden floor and carpeted home (Approx 1/3 each) - 3 Br home.
    - has a decent application for configuring (in english)
    - isnt a pain to use.

  • So the eBay discount PLUSFLASH10 is actually only one day ?

    • +1

it seems less than one day from my perspective… sites like eBay have these limited sales where they don't tell you the end specifically.
Then they will likely end it at 11:59pm ADST which is only the time zone for the bottom right corner of Australia and those of us in Qld / NT / SA / WA don't even get it until the end of the same day cause it ends at 10pm in Perth for example - hate it when people can't see there's more to Australia then what's around the CBD of Melbourne through Sydney.
What would be wrong with ending it at 2am in DST so that's is midnight in Perth …(sorry Christmas Island - or 3am)?

      • Yup I agree.

And big thanks to Buy2Much for his/her advice. Glad I didnt wait until Black Friday for my desired Shopping to do on eBay. Got ripper deal yesterday. $240 for a 2 in 1 tablet worth around $500 easily

  • Has anyone compared the Dreame to a Dyson?

    • The guy on youtube.

  • +1

    mi band 6, oos

    • get a 7

  • Thanks for posting OP. Does the V11 non combo come with a motorised head?

    • Standard one come with one Soft Motorized Roller head. Combo come with 1x Soft Motorized Roller head and 1x Motorized Carpet Head.

      • Thanks for the reply. I ordered the standard but need a carpet head. Is it possible to change my order to the combo?

  • So I had purchased the Xiaomi Dreame Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 20,000Pa Suction back in 2019.
How does the 20,000Pa compare against 150-185AW?
Isn't it also odd that the G11 has more inhalation power than the H7?
I'm guessing that suction power isn't as important these days (obviously not included in the title anymore)!

  • Are you restocking mi band?

    • The 7 is out now.

  • Any of these roborocks do self emptying?

  • Any restock for the v11 combo, op?
