In store too. "spend $200 and get $30 off* when you use your Perks member code at check out or in-store."

Probably can't be stacked with the $10 coupon's

    • +2

      Cant.
It only counts the one that gives the biggest discount.

It says "better discount applied" under the $10 code.

  • +1

Can this combined with price matched items in cart?

    • I’d like to know as well.

      • I've read people have done that with the $10 voucher before.

    • Yes I did last time

    • CONFIRMED YES - Just matched a MX Mechanical Wireless via chat, stacked with perks $30 off $200 and hoping my AMEX spend/save will come through too

  • Loves JB

  • -2

How do you handle all the JB hi Fi email spam to receive these offers

    • +5

I dont get much spam from jbhifi at all. Or it could just be the other spam i get is way more.

    • +1

Am on perks list. Only get perks list emails so far. There was one survey/feedback email about 3 months in but that was the only remotely off topic to date that I recall.

    • +4

Gmail filter. Soo easy to set up.

      • +2

This is what my filter looks like. Then when ozbargain informs me of a deal, I just look in my JB Hifi folder.

        • Do you do that for every merchant lol?
Most go to promotions I've found.
Btw, getting a heap of emails already ever since joining up for the $10.
Will have to unsubscribe from all that junk.

          • @G-rig: Nope, only ones that give me free stuff in return for spamming me. Ie JB, Supercheap, BCF. It's quick as to right click an email, select "Filter messages like these" and then add the rules.

            I don't use the Updates/Social/Promotions inbox layout.

            • @theguyrules: yeah that's alright - as long as aren't cloggin up main inbox.
I've found the promotions work ok.

    • Anything with apple gets deleted straight away, literally takes me 2 seconds to read 'apple' and I hit the delete button. Gonesky.

    • On Gmail at least all my spam gets auto tagged as "Promotional" and it goes into that tab by default. So your inbox stays clean.
The codes also end up in the Promo folder tab. But not much of a problem just to check it when you are expecting one.
Weirdly the actual Spam folder doesn't get much in it. Maybe just seriously spammy crap.

  • Us regular (non Perks) folk merely get a generic voucher for $30 off $300 spend :(

    • I can send you my $30 off $200 code if you'd like.

      • I’d appreciate the code I’d cashless doesn’t take it.

        • +3

First come first served. I'll send you it now

Also, If anyone else wants the $10 off no minimum spend code, I still have mine.
I live in a rural area so postage ends up making the codes not worth it for me.

          • @[Deactivated]: Yes please, i would like to receive 10 one

          • +1

@[Deactivated]: Me too. We can both use the 10 perks if we time it together

            • @easternculture: Lemme just hack into the jbhifi database and make that work

              • @[Deactivated]: It works, we just need to both add to cart before anyone pays

                • @easternculture: You'd have to co-ordinate that with Austaurean.
If they're willing to give it a shot, they can send you the code I messaged them

It looks like they auto unsubscribed me which is weird

If you're out searching for crap you wouldn't normally buy full price without this discount.

May make the controller more acceptable in price

If anyone is looking for a 32" tv you could get the FFalcon 32 which is on sale for $199 and add a $1+ item.

  • Not received a perks email since 25 October (not in spam folder either). Anyone else having this problem?

    • yep, we were unsubscribed automatically if you go to your login you cant see it there.

      • +1

        Thanks for the response

  • Thanks to all the generous ozbargainers in the comments!! I love you all.

Wait, is it $200 or $300 spend? Title was edited to $300.

    • email says spend $200 Get $30 Off

    • Perks code is meant to be $200. General code for non-Perks is $300. Wrong edit.
      I've reported to mods.

    • Definitely $200. Mod for some reason changed it to $300 perhaps confused with the other non-perks member deal or copy paste error. Have reported the error

  • Generic $30 off $300+ code advertised on their homepage.

    92JB30

  • So it's 15% off but not sure what to buy to get maximum value

    • "not sure what to buy to get maximum value"

Something that's exactly $200. Spend anymore and you are getting less than 15% off.

    • Yes, but what do buy :(

      • +1

I just bought PS5 God of War Ragnarok $95, PS5 Modern Warfare II $78 and Lenovo Smart Clock Essential $39. All up was $167 after discount and cashback, which I think is pretty good value :)

  • Do people who have not opted in for emails not get any of these offers? Then what's the point of being a perks member

    • But how will you get the perks offer if you do not opt in for emails. Serious question.

      • -1

Well it could be loaded to my account

        • Well that is indeed an ok solution but not sure if thats how jbhifi setup the perks system.

          • @xoom: Infact I just looked up a way to turn on my emails in my perks account but don't see any option. So basic that set up

            • @sub102: Again not my system setup so cant argue eitherway.

        • This is not how it works. If code can be shared between accounts it means the code is not tied to your specific account.

          • @CodeXD: I didn't say its tied to an account

            • @sub102: Well if you wanted it loaded to your account it might as well be tied to your account.

              • @xoom: By loading to an account I meant it being in my account for me to see rather than getting the email. Doesn't mean it should be tied to the account
