  • too quick!

    • Ha ha, it's only because already being awake (and getting ready for bed) here in the UK I was just checking my emails lo.

      That's what she said.

Need a code request megathread set up.

Edit: I’ve created a megathread here now for all code requests and offers.

    • +1

Good work, code added to this.

  • +16

Jb’s everything price up now. No point.

    • +1

      Is this true?

      • +5

        Yes

      • +4

        maybe

      • +5

        not sure

You can price match and stack perks codes

      • Just tried. You cannot. Once price matched this coupon will show as unmet condition.

        • Ah sorry they must have changed it. Worked in the past :/

        • You can, I just got a price match via live chat and successfully applied the coupon, 2 days after your post.

Did you have $300 in your cart? You need to get the rep to add another item to get to $300 at the same time. I'm assuming your unmet condition was the $300 spend.

          • @Soothsayer: I'm talking about in-store. I can imagine why this could work online, though. I just have to made the purchase in-store back then.

            • @xmagic: Ah yep, I had a similar experience recently where the rep wouldn't let me apply the $10 welcome credit to a price match in person. He claimed it was against policy. Seems others have been able to so I guess it depends on your sweet talking skills!

Tbh, live chat + online order for C&C is much easier and faster if able to do it, no messing about waiting for floor rep to help, searching up price match, getting approval from manager, issues with applying coupons, etc.

              • @Soothsayer: Yeah just ask someone else or different store haha
                online sounds easest though!

    • Its more that the previous sale finished which usually happens when they run the next promo.

  • +4

Price match Motorola g82 with good guy $399 and use the $40off makes it $359. Not the lowest price but good enough.

  • +3

What is good to buy though

    • +1

      Hisense PL1H at $1995, less the $40 off 🤙

Except you’re gonna also want a UST Screen … and a sound system… surge protector… cabling.. install

      Doh!

      • Except, good luck finding stock lol

        • Plenty of stock near me. They can do an internal transfer from one store to another too

          • @Lucille Bluth: Can they do transfer interstate? Seems to be sold out over Brisbane (even though it says it's available at gold coast)

            • +2

@montorola: My local would and has in the past. Best to go in person and ask. They will ask you to make payment so the floor person gets their commission/KPIs and then it would be worth their time in organising for you.

              • +1

@Lucille Bluth: Thanks for this mate, will go in and try my luck in person, cheers!

Brings the Watch 4 Classic 46mm Black down to $359. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/samsung-galaxy-watch4-cla…

    • -1

You can grab used LTE versions on ebay/gumtree for a bit cheaper than that if you are okay with used!

      • +5

I mean, you can say that about any product?

  • +1

If someone want Sony xm5 they can price match at jbhifi with https://www.pcbyte.com.au/p/sony-wh-1000xm5-premium-noise-ca… and then use $40 coupon to get further discount though not as cheap as $350 deal a few weeks ago due to pricing error.

    • It should still be available at 389 via good guys commercial (need membership and email their quote team for quote)

      • @Jimothy Wongingtons no it’s not available anymore on goodguys commercial and jb commercial has it for $549 same as retail website

        • +1

It’s never been on tggc website - you need to contact them for a quote.

Email [email protected] with details of your membership and request for quote on the x M5 (only black is available) if you want to go through with the exercise.

          • @Jimothy Wongingtons: Thanks jimothy. Have sent them an email now and hopefully they respond soon.

            • @eshwar79: Please keep us posted here, mate.

Usually DJI has been excluded for the past few perks promotions like this one.

              • @DoctorCalculon: Goodguys commercial team responded today with a quote for $389 for xm5 and then $10 for delivery

          • @Jimothy Wongingtons: Cheers. Doing the same. I gifted a pair for Christmas during the $350 deal, but now I want one for myself… Emailed TGGC, otherwise will attempt to price match with PCByte. Originally saw Mobileciti has it at $489, but PCByte is cheaper at $475 (though I think they have different SKUs, so will be interesting which one JB matches).

            • @jraj: They did match pcbyte but they asked the postcode where I live as click and collect is not available only in nsw so have some random nsw postcode.

      • Anyone been able to get in touch with good guys commercial? No response via web form, email and phone line is unavailable. Retail line tells me they were open yesterday…

        • No they don’t seem to be responding.

  • -4

Can you ask for a PM/deal then use this?

    • +7

If only you read the comments with many suggesting to PM you could get your own answer…

    • Yes

  • +3

With so many exclusions listed ..they should have actually listed what is included would have been lot more easier."$300 Minimum spend required in one transaction on items excluding Apple, Games Consoles, Telstra & Foxtel services, Mobile Phone Contracts, Miele & Asko agency products, Dell & Apple Built to Order, Pre-Paid Cards & Gift Cards, Pre-Orders, JB Hi-Fi Extra Care, JB Hi-Fi Mobile Extras and Delivery."

    • no Miele what a shame, …curious if DJIs excluded or not

      • +2

Well it’s not in the list so why would it be excluded? If they knock you back I’d say it’s grounds for a formal complaint.

        • +1

Better to check early. It is possible the exclusion was entered into their POS / ecommerce platform.

        • -1

          Formal complaint??? That's hilarious!!!

          • +1

@THICKnSLOW: Yea , as opposed to ranting on ozbargain to the invisible complaints officer with invisible typewriter who will see the issue on forums and raise with the applicable head office - which seems to be the common theme of 2022 forum posting.

    • -1

Hmmm.. could you buy 2 items (one including, one ex), that would get you over the $300 mark and then just return the unwanted included item later on? You have like 30 days.

      • The code will split the discount across the two items/the whole sale.

        • Ahhh interesting.. didn't know that.

  • +1

Can the code be used in store after a price match

    • Depends who u get ;)

      • agree. dont mentioned you will use the code.
just get the match, and then buy, and if possible quickly pickup before they cancel your order (Because of using the code)

        • Oz shadow sneaky sneak buy

        • Just tried. It seems the system blocks the code with unmet condition with price matched items now.

    • yeah i've price matched and used a Perks code before… and (if applicable) make sure you scan it before using Gift Cards

  • +1

maybe another Philips hue lamp ….mmmm

  • -3

My bad… I purchased yesterday only for $310 via Online

    • oh no……😢

    • Return!

    • If that doesn't work, purchase same item again with deal and return newly purchased item with old receipt.. simples 😜

      • Still has to be over $300 in guess.

  • +12

I hardly buy anything from JB nowadays, they are overpriced for almost everything.

  • is this perks thing monthly? what's the biggest discount so far?

  • +2
    • But min order $300, so $1 expenses needed….,

      • +1

        Please teach me the way

        • Search In the search bar on the JB website enter 1 space in the search bar then sort low to high, plenty of cheap stuff to top up to $300 if needed 😉

Also if you are price matching via live chat I don’t think you can add any extra items to the cart only the item you are price matching.

          • @Pixel Spam: Can you pay over the counter instead of online?

            • +2

@ivyholmes: If you purchase online you have to pay online, best bet would be go into store and pricematch if you wanted to pay instore

              • @Pixel Spam: How easy is it to price match instore?

                • @mmd: My advice is have your proof of the cheaper price ready and simply ask a staff member to price match. I have never had an issue 😀

                  • @Pixel Spam: You can ask Live chat to add another item to bump it over $300!
                    Unless I got a Mugeeb!

    • +1

That would be a very good deal, $21.67 / TB after discount assuming you can find a $1 item

  • Was wondering if the noise-canceling headphones were still on sale. But nope.

  • I am unable to sign-up for JB perks. The page keeps loading and refreshing. I tried different devices and computers. Deleted the cookies and history , nothing helps. Any idea ?

    • An email will be sent asking you to finish registration.

  • +1

Is this targeted? I didn't get an email.

  • does anyone know if you can price-match online and then use a perks code AND a gift card when checking out?
