Pureboost Go's are $80 for me? nvm at checkout price is correct

    • Same

      • At Checkout, the price will be $48.

Heads up, purchased the Pureboost Go and have to return to size up. Usually a size 9 but these are tight. Also has the tightest opening on a shoe I've ever seen, poorly designed and a pain in the rear to put on. Otherwise comfortable.

    • Did you order a full size up or a half size up?

      • Half size up should be fine, toes were a bit cramp in size 9. In saying that the opening size will be a pain no matter what size you get. But I can deal with it.

        • Its free returns, so I just got both the half size up and the full size up and then will return the one that doesn't fit as well

    • +1

they are tight at first, then they loosen up. i would get your correct size.

you go a size up they get sloppy. tripping over your feet wearing too big of a shoe, and then they are too loose and your feet are moving all over the place.

i bought these a few years ago, and bought again to replace my worn out pair.

    • "Usually a size 9"

What are you comapring to? Other adidas shoes?

15% Cashback with Cashrewards as well. I went to the outlet catalogue and filtered by my shoe size, and pretty much went for it. Got about 5 pairs of shoes for around $250 combined after Cashback.

So you're saying I shouldn't buy more if I already have 10+ pairs of brand new shoes lying around from ozb deals? You must be new around here.

I have shoes i wear like 2-3 times a year but it's always nice to have in the rotation. But if you dont care about looks and fit, why do you keep buying?

  • does anyone know if i can return at an adidas outlet if size is incorrect?

Thanks @save50. Got 2 pairs of NMD_R1 Primeblue Shoes & 1 pair of Pureboost Go Shoes half size up. I also signed up for adiClub which gave me a 15% discount voucher (doesn't stack with items on sale and 2 weeks limited time offer which I don't think I will use).

Thanks, got the Columbia Ultraboost. Firstly I like the colours but also it has a leather upper, which means my toe won't go through them. I've had several with mesh including Hokas that I've punctured with big toe.

    • ColOmbia, as it says on the shoe…

      • Haha ok. Got 11.42 on cash rewards so $73 is a good deal thanks

  • +1

Sweet deal, thanks @save50, I got a pair of Pureboost Go to replace my ancient Pureboost Go with 'Burrito' tongues, hopefully they're just as comfy!

    • Did you normally go for half size up with pure boost go?

      • I went half size up, my old ones are probably a bit too snug with socks at my normal size, plus I'm unsure how the new ones will fit cos they've changed the tongue design.

I also have a bad habit of buying undersized shoes, so erring on the side of caution..

        For reference, they used to look like this;

        https://runrepeat.com/adidas-pure-boost

        • Just got my Pureboost Go, the fit seems 'correct' but these are harder to put on than a tight pair of socks! They also fit nothing like the old burrito tongue Pureboost for anybody who's curious.

  • Cashrewards tracked within 2mins! That was fast!

  • Thanks OP bit the bullet and bought some for me and the partner! Cashwewards 15% couldn't find a coupon that worked. Student beans looks to be the same.

  • is there any significant advantage of the football themed ultraboosts over the pureboost go?

i'm looking for a cheap pair for running/exercise basically

    • Crackheads will notice you if wearing a Columbia one

    • +1

the copa boosts have a leather upper vs polyester knit of the pureboost. "advantage" depends on your preferences/use case

    • Avoid the eshays

  • Got this puremotion in black for $36 before Cashback

Why have bogans made this type of attire their signature fashion? puts me off buying it

  • The sales are over 4 pairs were in cart for $220 now it's 400 odd. Within the last 10 mins my cart prices doubled. 2 pairs of pure boost go were $100 for 2 now $160 odd.

  • +1

I am unable to get the NMDs for $66, shows up as $110 in cart and there is a note below the product saying this product is excluded from all discounts and offers. Anybody else facing same issue?

    • Yes

  • Expired :(

  • I placed two orders (with different size) but only one was tracked. I have two questions:
    1. why only one was tracked?
    2. How do I know which one was tracked and if I return the incorrect size do I lose cashback?

    Thanks

    • That’s probably a question to cashback who are better placed to answer

  • Those NMDs look cheap and tacky…Something's not right about them.

    • Usual comment for someone who just missed out on a good bargain

      • -1

This is what someone who has to try and justify their bad purchases would say also.

        • touché

But i paid $40 for them (inc cashback and bonus) so cheaper than a kmart knock off

          Def not a bad purchase.

          • @easternculture: I never claimed they weren't a bargain, I merely pointed out they don't look that nice - given that other NMDs look way better.

  • Correct me if I am wrong but I thought Pureboost's were meant to have all boost material on the sole so no rubber "grip", that's what made them "Pure boost".
So technically Pureboost Go's aren't Pureboosts.
Same with the Pureboost 21/22's they aren't Pureboosts.

    • haven't been following the history of pureboosts, but i don't think it's practical to have any shoe with a boost outsole as there wouldn't be any grip. my guess at what separates all the boost lines is the amount of boost.

      • I had the original Pureboosts, never had any issue with grip in all weather. It was like a deeper crossed pattern grip made of Boost material, kind of like a waffle but with diagonal lines. It wore at about the same speed as any other regular shoe.
It was also by far the most comfortable Boost I ever had, although I think Ultraboost soles with continental rubber grip "might" last longer. To be honest though my current Ultraboosts have no held up so well.

        • that's interesting!
i haven't worn down my ultraboosts past the conti rubber yet but it's a bonus if i could still wear them until i'd worn out the boost as well lol

          • @tdw: Sorry was editing above.. "not held up so well."

Yeah I also have a funny feeling they changed the Boost formula since the original Pureboosts though. Honestly the Boost material of the original Pureboosts was so tough, while with my current continental Ultraboosts once wearing through the rubber grip I can see it is also shaving away at the Boost much easier than the original Pureboosts. To be fair to the Ultraboosts though there is no "pattern" underneath the rubber grip it's just flat boost material.

Thinking about it now, it could also be the case on the original Pureboosts that they used another special Boost formula very similar to normal Boost material and had it stuck on the bottom with the same color as the Boost material (although I couldn't tell personally, seemed like all a single moulded piece of Boost to me). But anyway you can't get original Pureboosts anymore the suspicious side of me says they made the original too good and last too long.

Edit: Also had a few slippery moments with my current Ultraboosts with continental rubber in the rain. Not all the time but I remember a few. That never happened with the original Pureboosts they kind of gripped like a sponge.
What I do remember is the original Pureboost grip was deeper than my Ultraboosts. The continental rubber barely has any depth, which I assume is responsible for the slippery moments.

  • NMD_R1 PRIMEBLUE shipped

  • anyone have pureboosts shipped yet?

mine still says “order confirmed waiting to be packed”…

    • I'm in the same boat

    • Yes

  • +1

Pureboosts arrived today. Very comfy, and perfect size.

    • Mine still waiting to be packed f@ck

  • Pureboosts arrived 4 days after ordering (2 days after they showed as picked and ready to send). Decent shoe with good comfort on the run I did last night.

  • Received nmds today, very nice but the tab at back is really annoying 🙄
