BLUETTI AC180 Portable Power Station 1800W 1152wh $1249 Delivered ($1229 with Coupon/$1186.55 with Referral) @ Bluetti

Was very on the fence about this one, but considering it packs in inverter, charger, box, ports, battery, cables I thought with the 5% off referal it was worth it especially compared to the EcoFlow ones. Plus the AC fast charging is brilliant. They have additional batteries you can buy but I reckon the way to go is to buy another 12v lithium battery and just use that to charge this.

Looking to start a little market stall and the powered sites seem to be always taken so planning to use this to run a little blender(I know overkill but can also use for camping, off grid charging of power tools ect) . Combine with an eBay deal for an MPPT charge controller and panel and you're off to the races.

This size seems like a good sweet spot. Anyone have any experience on how this would go as an always on UPS for my Plex Server, modem and router? Would it thrash the battery and stop it from lasting 10 years or is LiFePo good for this usage?

    • I'm pretty sure LiFePO4 isn't bad at this kind of usage, you can drain them pretty low and it's fine (similar vibe to the Lithium Ion batteries in laptops/phones just longer lasting and larger)

    • I'm pretty sure it's more about cycle count, but if you do make sure to turn it off before 10% or so it'll probably make it last longer than 10 years

  • I need UPS to power my cpap machine in case anything happens, does this work?

    • Might be a YouTube job :)

    • Sounds like it does though

  • Anyone has a referral link please?
