  i have one of these, they are very handy if you want to see what a fast charge cycles looks like as the display alternates between current and voltage the device is charging at.

    Or even for seeing if your USB-C Macbook Pro is actually charging, as they have no indicators for that apart from on the screen.

    So many times I thought my closed MBP was charging and getting ready for the day, but it turned out the power brick wasn't properly plugged in and there was no apparent way to tell.

  I love these. Got some regular USB A to USB C cables and they're all I want to use. Love being able to see that devices are outputting or charging correctly and at what speed.

  Pretty good. Just don't recommend using these as a bedside charger as the LED light is really bright.

  They're super flimsy.

  Yes, it's nice while it lasts - But I had two die after about two weeks of usage. If you're buying one, be super gentle on the join between the head and the cable itself - there's no proper strain relief.

        I'm on a big-lap roadtrip, sitting up The Kimberley at the moment, it's not worth wasting the time or effort communicating with them and posting it back for $10.

      It's amazon selling a third parties product, you just have to expect that it'll last a few weeks, what I've heard that some people will do, is purchase the same item again and return the said faulty item in it's place :D

      Dealing with chinese 3rd parties is always a pain. Amazon are great, but only within the first 30 days.

      So yeah … You can take the punt and if it dies after 30 days just buy a new one and say it was DOA.

  May not fit if your phone has a thick case. I had a Pixel 6 Pro with a Peak Design case, and the power display on this cable is set so close to the head that it couldn't fit in.
