Seems like AmaySim for $99 60gb 1 year is much better value

    • Yes this is what im using rn. Only need 60GB for less $, sometimes does have some promo too, i think last time i paid $60

    • +2

Especially since Amaysim (and Catch Connect) are wholly owned subsidiaries of Optus, this deal makes especially no sense

      • They probably protect your privacy better at least

        • If it is directly owned by optus, you can expect same $h!t level privacy as optus.

I would do whatever it takes to not be on optus, (with amaysim I have had terrible experiences in past, catch never tried) But it they are wholly owned by optus thanks for letting me us know I would Never buy them now, regardless of the $5 OW amaysim deal (would just spend an extra $5-10 for some other MVNO/Pay as you go plan

    Optus ewwwwwww. No thanks.

  • +2

This is terrible value, even if you compare it with other MNVO's that use the Optus network, see Amaysim as an example.

Optus - Telstra will always remains bit more expensive as for most advance network and greater coverage… My offer is still the best in a market for Optus Sim card valued $180 and selling at $145.

      • +2

Except Optus provides the whole network to MVNOs so no extra coverage

      • +1

Did you miss the bit about what Amaysim's offer is? Your offer is not the best.

  • +1

    Rotten deal

  • I know there are differences between Telstra and Telstra wholesale providers.. That is not the same with Optus? There is no difference between Optus and Optus wholesale providers?

    • +2

No official differences as far as I'm aware. I rock full-fat Optus on an eSIM and Catch Connect on a physical sim (same phone, two numbers) and never noticed a difference in bars or internet speeds with either.

This isn't a bargain when you can currently get… Amaysim 365 Days, 60GB Plan for $99.00.

    Amaysim uses the Optus network.

  • +2

Coles Mobile (365 days) is currently $119 with 120gb (uses the optus network)
Also the 60gb is frequently on sale for $99.

  • +2

Complete rip. Just bought a $119 Amaysim SIM with 140GB / 365 days along with 28 international calls countries.

People come here for bargains, not to be ripped off.

  • do u get access to subhub with this

  • +2

    No bargain listed

  • @renish

Please do not alter the deal after it's been posted, as it will cause the votes to become misrepresented.

    Thanks and regards

Nothing to see here kiddies move onto to next bargain

  • Its a good deal if you are using the Optus app to get Optus Sports for the EPL for $12 a month instead of $25 a month, but I can't see any other benefits besides that.

How long is this deal running for @renish?

Edit: Tried applying the coupon and its showing price at $155 and not $145
