My Opolar air duster from a previous ozb deal has been on the fritz for a long while only working for 2 seconds when fully charged, but works fine if left plugged in. I've been meaning to diagnose it for a while but there's not much information on the internet and when searching for a replacement I found this one that is not only an air duster but a vacuum also. For $25 I think it's potentially a really good deal, apart from the included USB to 9v barrel jack charger (I would have much rather USBC or micro USB so can use any cable and not a hard to replace charger if something goes wrong with it).

Camel x3 showing that this is the cheapest price by more than 50%: https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B09FQCB9XB

These things are really good for cleaning dust out of electronics and the vacuum might make it useful for around the house too.

  • Is it strong enough to not need air cans ever again? πŸ˜… If it does 3/4 of the job of the can, I'll snap one up.

Edit: First review says it works just as well as canned air, but is even better when you put on the long nose attachment (atleast for keyboard cleaning).

Double edit: I can't add it to cart..

    • In my experience with different air dusters is that these are just as good if not better than the canned air. I haven't tested this one yet though.

      • Thanks for that! Are you able to click through to purchase?

Says only 4 left but can't add to cart, and if I buy now, it takes me to my cart but it doesn't get added and just says empty.. πŸ˜…

Edit: Oh RIP, back to $33 with a 10% discount coupon box.

        • Sneaky seller changed the price to 30.5 now just after they saw the ozb traffic start (33.9 - 10% coupon). I'll update the post.

          • @studentl0an: I think that seller went OOS and it's reverted to the next cheapest.

Edit: If you check other sellers, you can still get it for around $26. One person is selling for $12 with $13 shipping.. πŸ˜…

@WasBargain: That makes sense. I can't change the post to reflect the 30.5 price now either as there is an error message due to the seller change and that a mod will need to do it.

Can a mod change the price to reflect $30.5 in the title and body?

        • It's showing as $33.90 for me. Haven't tried to add it to my cart at that price.

          • @lina23: There should be a 10% coupon box you can click at that $33.90 price. Or if you're quick, check below for the other sellers, one person has it for $12.xx with $13.xx shipping and came out to $26.08 for me.

I would avoid that seller and it's not 'Fulfilled by Amazon'.

Great timing, my Opolar knock-off started refusing to turn on recently. I was going to try replacing the batteries (assume it's using 18650s or similar) but I can't figure out how to disassemble it, suspect it's glued shut.

For $25 this is worth a shot (plus less hassles with return/refund if it dies early given it's Amazon)

    • Does your knock off have the 4 screws on the side shown in this disassembly video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYpe0j41TUo

I'm thinking 1 or more bad 18650 cells might be causing my issues also.

    • but I can't figure out how to disassemble it, suspect it's glued shut.

Pull off the bottom and nozzle ring and peel the stick off the back. Then just unscrew and come apart.

  • Do these work well? Most are $90+. I’d be willing to buy if it actually works, but if it’s just junk I’ll avoid.

    • The 2nd video review I linked too shows it working really well. It also has a 4.2 rating with 1200+ reviews on the Amazon page.

That's a different seller for a different price than the one listed after it went out of stock

      You're downvoting a deal that wasn't posted.

The 2 jinhuatai are different? How?

        • Because this deal ran out of stock from the original seller, was marked expired and the link defaulted to a different seller before you even posted your comment. The downvote you are putting now isn't for the deal that was posted.

It's spelled out clearly in the comments above.

@studentl0an: Revision history shows the store had not changed between you posting the deal and after it became sold out.

            The store ID is A1IO6XO5NEA1YU.

            • @alvian: The revision history you linked to is for this OZB deal after it went OOS and went to another seller.
