Gift card : store credit INCEPTION

    • Term 7 clearly states gift card purchases are excluded from the promotion.

      • Welcome to Ozbargain

  • Does anyone know if this will include items ordered online but collected in store (it doesn't really seem to say in the terms & conditions)?

    • As long as the purchase is made online it shouldn't matter whether the goods were delivered or picked up.

  • Aren't their online prices pretty bad? I reckon they just don't want anyone coming in and price-matching.

  • Just bought a new ipad 16G wifi for $497 + $5 usb stick to get it over $500.
Works out to be $422 for the ipad, if you can spend the $75 store credit for something.
    Hopefully can pickup tomorrow.

  • I'm not seeing a voucher anywhere in my cart, am i missing something?

    • It's in the deal details:
"Valid Claims will be issued their The Good Guys Store Credit (“Store Credit”) via email"

      • Home page states store credit valid till 30th September only. Confusing!

  • hmmm, this could be fun

there's an electrolux kitchen thinggy in their catalogue that says:
    - "200$ store credit" but also
    - "pay less, pay cash"
    - coupled with this deal

i wonder if i could talk them down to 1000$ cash, then score the two 200$ store credit deals on top for a 600$ kitchen appliance deal :)

  • I can not make credit card payment on thegoodguys.com

  • wish it was like bing lee

  • more than happy to give people 50 for their 75 dollar voucher =)
    let me know thanks

  • hmm I think purchasing in-store is still better. I recently purchased a dryer that costs $299 in-store ($289 online) for $250. I used a $100 gift card that I had bought during 20% off promotion, so that was another $20 saving. What I normally do is to ask them what is the best price they can give me, then negotiate from there.

    • I bought a heater that was much cheaper online, they only matched it and very reluctantly at that.

  • Anybody want to buy iPad? It seems a good deal if 3 person can buy together. $497 + $497 + ($497-$200= $297) total $1291. If 3 wants to buy each iPad New 16 gb wifi will cost $1291/3=$430 approx. if anybody in Sydney interested, let me know (email: [email protected])I am in Rosebery NSW.. My nearest store is Alexandria.

  • do you guys remember how to get the in store cash if its not received by tuesday?
