Save for the XXL size, this one is too small to cook a decent chicken.
Way more benefits in XXL size such as all the baking accessories

    • how many L is the XXL ?

      • +1

7.4. They are right, XXL is king. Roast chicken in that thing is amazing.

  • I have this and have for the past year, great unit, need to clean coil once a month though, didn't know until last week this was even supposed to be done. 2 year warranty, currently claiming a faulty basket and staff are quick and efficient when you call philips

I have one and did not know this. We love our XL, it's a decent compromise between an oven and a smaller-sized air fryer.

I called Philips and they sent me a video, mines basically caked on there now but it did help and fries quick again

I got one of these for around this price. i never use it.. Save yourself the $194 :) . Oven does pretty much the same thing.

In saying that, this air fryer has the least horrid burning plastic smell I've come across.. its not 100% nothing but its not super bad like some others that fill your whole house with particulate

All my friends and family with an Airfryer still prefer to use the oven

We use our airfryer at least every 2nd day. We only bought Philips brand and never had any plastic smell.

Airfryer is just another oven, oven can do everything airfryer could. However the amount of energy wasted to heat up entire oven and the time it takes to cook is way more than airfryer.

"All my friends and family with an Airfryer still prefer to use the oven" probably the first person in the world to say that. literally stating the opposite of common opinion these days. how controversial

  • I've been holding out until Black Friday to pickup a Philips XXL / XXXL, a few days ago went to a dinner party and the hosts had a Ninja Foodi XL Air Fry Oven.
Got me thinking, they seem way more practical. Having the ability to have 2 trays going & the easy of cleaning.

Anyone have any pros/cons for/against these two style of ovens?
