Not as cheap as the $299 back in July.

$399 or more everywhere else and with Suntory massively increases their prices, might as well grab one.
The price increases are scheduled to take effect for bottles being shipped after April 1 of next year, so there’s still some time to grab them at their current prices, provided retailers aren’t already marking up their existing stock.

      Same. This used to be my favourite one, but then it got too popular (thanks to whisky critics) and there’s just no way I can convince myself to pay triple for it.

    Bought 3 of these a few years ago when they were $100. Opened one recently. It’s not that great.

      I had one years ago and didn't enjoy it either. I can't understand the fuss about some of these Japanese whiskeys.

    AgreedX I have half a bottle sitting on the shelf from years ago. It’s “fine” as $100 Whiskey. Definitely not a $300 whiskey.

    These Japanese whiskies were great value when they were at a great price a few years ago. In my opinion, these are not worth the price tag they carry these days. Hard pass.
