Amazon US has a buy 3 save 10% and buy 2 save 5% promotion, and they stack. You just need to add 3 qualifying items—make sure it's from Amazon US—and this record becomes $58.06.

Here's a few things that have been posted here and some that I picked. The prices are after the 10% + 5% stack.

This will be my last post for the day because I have to watch Wrestlemania.

Edit: the prices might be off by a few cents depending on what you buy and how many items. The promo is a bit weird

$60 is still a rip off and sadly only a bargain due to the totally cynical state of the vinyl market.

  • Neon Genesis Evangelion is so cool.

Correctly me if I am wrong, but I was under the impression that very little Japanese music was available on Western streaming services. Somebody once told me they had to use a Japanese VPN to legally purchase a digital version of a Japanese soundtrack (I think it was from a game rather than anime). Ridiculous that they make their products so hard to obtain. I thought capitalists wanted to reach as many customers as possible.

People still love buying CDs in Japan the same way they loved buying minidisk a decade or more ago when the rest of the world didnt.

    • There's now more online. Even full music videos are finally being released, whereas, usually fans were lucky to see just a 30 second preview. I'd say over the last few years, the Jp market has been slowly opening their distribution methods. The Jp domestic market is so strong internally, but surely looking at population trends and seeing how well Korea has gone with Western-focussed marketing, Jp is slowly releasing their grasp.

  • Evangelion is no worries
