HP Omen 40L i7-14700F, Z790 mATX, 32GB DDR5 5200, 2TB SSD + 1TB HDD, RTX 4080 16GB, 800W Gold PSU $2924.80 Delivered @ HP eBay

HPOFF20

Compared to the active TechFast $2888 deal this OMEN:

  • Has a 8% slower single-thread/25% slower multi-thread 14700F, balanced by using half the power of the 14900KF and not suffering the crashing issues when the i9 boosts past 250W+ during gaming
  • Has the original 4080 and not newer 4080 Super, with no noticeable loss in performance because the Super was released as a fake price drop by NVIDIA
  • Has a vastly superior 2TB WD Black TLC SSD vs the garbage 1TB Legend 800 QLC, plus an additional 1TB spinner
  • Has an activated Windows 11 Home license
  • Has a 1 year parts and labour warranty with HP Support
  • Is delivered within 3 days vs dispatched in 5-10 business days

I have omen 40l 4090. Case is def better tech fast, psu is 1200w gold+, cpu cooler is a air cooler, small but sufficient for 14700f which is 65w

Bit cheeky sneaking in 5200 RAM tho, oh and no 2.5GbE LAN.

    • Uh surely the RAM can be overclocked to 6000Mhz. Still wouldn't recommend it with intel 15th gen and nvidia 50 series around the corner. If you are using your PC for more than just gaming, avoid any Intel CPU ending in F since they lack iGPUs. On the other hand, for gaming only, you are better off with AMD's cheaper 7800X3D CPU which is the best gaming CPU in the world. No reason to get an Intel F series. Either go with 14700K/14900K for work or 7800X3D for gaming.

another case with a pane of glass infront of the forward case fans? Almost $3000? why aren't we past this rubbish?
