First time poster.

I was looking for a carpet cleaner with hose attachement for spot cleaning and decided to look at Godfrey's ebay store after reading "vagfinger's" comment on this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/843250

4.5 star reviews on Amazon with over 17k reviews, so decided to pull the trigger. Same price on catch.com.au but ebay has $15 off via. coupon.

    What will happen to the warranty if Godfreys disappears forever? I checked reviews, reliability seems the common issue.

      I assume the manufacturers warranty still applies.

      (Godfreys is expected to wrap up by 31st May 2024.)

      You can call Hoover Australia to check but I got told by them as long as it's not a Godfreys exclusive or produced model they can honor the warranty. Just keep the receipt.

        From the warranty terms and conditions, there will be no warranty as there will be no place of purchase to visit when Godfreys closes. Warranty T&Cs state that the main Hoover customer service is only for products bought directly from hoover.com.au

        In the event that your product may be faulty, please visit the place of purchase or contact the Hoover Customer Service Team for return details if the product was purchased from the Hoover website (www.hoover.com.au or www.hoover.co.nz) so that a qualified technician can assess if the product qualifies for warranty repairs due to faulty materials or workmanship and diagnose any issues and make warranty repairs, if necessary.
