It seems like ANZ never have any kind of cashback deals. Anyone know why?
pretty sure they partnered with a cashback site a few years ago, or even started up their own version. Guessing it didn't deliver the benefits they expected
ANZ owns Cashrewards and in the past had special deals there. Westpac has a relationship with Shopback, and St George, BofM and BankSA are all part of Westpac. CBA had Cheddar, which flopped, but now offer rewards to customers thru their banking app.
And NAB has nothing?

I don't think there are issues when it comes to gift card challenge like this. Unless you're referring to people missing out the bonus when the app still says xxx rewards left, which I believe is also an issue for Westpac

I’ve been making bank on ShopBack since St George / Bank of Melbz got involved. Not had any issues on any of these offers yet.
is there a lounge to link your BoM card? or do you just make a purchase with a BoM card and it will work?
because normally theres a Westpac and St George lounge but nothing like that for BoM
press the Bank Bonus button next to the Westpac one on the app Home tab screen
Recently I see “Bank of Melbourne Lounge” on the “Earn More” page just below the StG Lounge on the ShopBack app, with offers exactly showing the same as StG Lounge’s offers.
Make sure your card is in your linked payment methods and you pay using the actual card (not PayPal for example).
Mine was showing at St George the last few weeks but has now updated to show Bank of Melbourne.
PSA: Beware when you purchase when redemption count is LESS THAN 100 as the counter is NOT LIVE COUNT. The risk of missing out is most likely high.
Is this a one-off deal? I participated in the previous deal and have a $5 bonus pending. I cannot see another gift card promotion.
To answer my own question: It seems the link between STG and Shopback was broken. After I link my card again and refresh the page in Shopback app, I can see it.
Don't do that next time. Unlink-ing the card might void your previous cashback (I never tried, but that's what the T&C said). Next time, just close/kill the app or logout/login instead to force "refresh"
Thanks for the advice. Actually I didn't unlink my bank card, but simply added the same card again. Now I can see two St. George Lounges in the mobile app. That is quite interesting…
@eu: That's automatic. They're the same I think (just showing double on the UI). When I started one, it started both. Similarly, once I purchased, the challenge was gone from both too
@hanofee: Not exactly the same for me. I have the same promotions under St. George Lounge and Bank of Melbourne Lounge, even though I don't have a BOM card. It was true that I started the $5 Bank Bonus Cashback promotion today, and both were started. But I have another St. George Lounge under the Bank of Melbourne Lounge which only contains one promotion "Visa Olympic Games Promotion". I believe the second one was my previous linked lounge.
@eu: Might be different if someone actually have 2 cards? I only have 1 (StG), added to StG lounge a while ago, and now my BoM lounge is active too without me doing anything (but it listed the same card ending as StG). Apart of that Visa promo, which is just a drawing, everything is identical. The Bank SA is not active though, so maybe that one is really different

ShopBack Tech Swap is a decent choice. 2.5% and can be swapped for eBay, The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi, Catch, Bing Lee and Streamotion. It's a Prezzee card.
Beware of this mob.I bought a Coles gift card a few days ago, but I'm not able to retrieve it. The app is stuck at "Loading your gift card, please do not leave this page." and stays frozen. Latest app version, two different devices, two different versions of Android, tried on different IPs, same issue. After wasting a lot of time, I raised the ticket with them. I'll let you know how it goes.

I had a similar issue in the past with an Amazon GC, reloading the page worked (I believe the GC is opened inside the SB App's browser).
It doesn't let U reload the page, everything is blacked out so U can't engage with the interface and there's just a wheel of doom

Just got my St George card, but by God do they really make it a clunky process with their ancient systems.
Inconsistent links during signup process.
Emails with instructions that don't match up with the actual process.
Can't even register myself without calling up or going to a branch (and their customer service ends at 5pm)
