  Note: these are for very old laptops that lack USB-C.
  They use A/B, and so DisplayLink.

  Do not buy if you have USB-C port, unless you understand.

      Just don't.
      For $12 on Amazon you can get a usb-c hub with hdmi and power passthrough. $20 with a few more ports.

    Some modernish laptops do not have usb-c ports with alt mode (i.e asus vivobook). This would be a solution to get dual monitors working.
