How does this compare to the Phillips 4300 Series? Similar price delta on Amazon. Thoughts?
This is more fancy - more pre-drinks, app connectivity, more control variables compared to 4300, etc.
I recently bought 4300 from Amazon for ~$600 (discount + cashback etc). So far, I am enjoying my coffee. However, I had to brew ~30 cups of coffee to guess the parameters for my perfect brew.
If I have to decide between these two at this price point, the only thing I will consider would be that Philps comes with a 90-day return policy. I have never had a super-automatic machine before so for me, this is comforting that if I don't like it, I can always return it. Though, I like it now and will be keeping it.
Phillips has only one advantage at this price point: the ability to return if you don't like it. Otherwise, De'Longhi would be a better choice.
But if it is $600 vs $800, I would go for $600 as it does the job.

Parents had non-plus version.
Great machine, still going strong for over 2-3 years and always ran great with no problems. They kept it cleaned somewhat regularly and ran the auto descale program every coupe of months and it still makes great piping hot coffee. Cleaning is pretty easy, just make sure you check all the parts to ensure no build-up or anything.
All you have to do is keep it filled and press a button but I guess this version has an app to make even that step easier. Programmable settings if you have non-standard cups. Makes about 3-4 coffees on one tank, depending on settings. All you do is put the next cup under and select what coffee you want.
Never used any similar machine so unsure of comparisons but if you have the money to justify on a coffee machine like this, this one definitely makes coffee.
Decent price
I got one about 18 months ago and it's been great, the only issue is it's developed a slow water leak into the grounds bin which can get a little mouldy if it's not cleaned regularly. Nothing a minor service shouldn't fix.

Received mine today. The factory packaging box was open, even though everything inside appears brand brand fnew and factory packaged.
The worst thing however, is that the water tank is leaking, and that's even before being installed in the machine. I've called their support and to my great annoyance they've going via the warranty claim process and won't even take me how long the it would take to rectify it. And that's despite issue being there on day 1. Not happy at all with De'Longhi.
Does the water tank leak while it is out of the machine? I had the opposite problem: water didn't come out of the tank after it was installed and I could not prime the water pump. I had to push the spring loaded nozzle in the water tank in with a bit of tape. If you have not sent it back to Delonghi yet, check that the spring and nozzle at the bottom of the water tank (not the machine) is in the right position. Gently pull it out as far as you can.
I've since realised that this is a run-out model and is being replaced by the ECAM380.95T which looks the same except it does not have bluetooth app connectivity and the pump pressure has been downgraded to 15 bar. The machine I received was manufactured in 2021. I checked the date on the water filter packaging. Pretty old stock to keep in the warehouse.
Sorry but I didn't really understand what you were suggesting. The spring loaded water outlet looks and works fine - I've previously had an old Magnifica S and it was similar from what I remember. The water tank works fine and makes coffee, but it leaks both in and out of the machine, so my bench was soaked after the intial testing.
I've managed to convince them not to replace the entire machine that I've already set up and tested, but just to send me the new water tank. But it's yet to be shipped, unfortunately.
I doubt it was made in 2021. The water filtures are separate stock, are the same part for a number of models I believe, and they chuck them in a box when packing these.
Regardless of that, I think this is the best value for money deal for a fully automatic machine and is the cheapest historical price. It's compared to a Jura costing almost 3 times the price and I watched a review by a non-pro YouTuber who bought his for $1600 USD from Amazon US and was very happy with it, coming from a manual Breville. I think coffee machines are just about the only thing that costs cheaper in Australia than anywhere else, for some reason.
I just really hope I receive my replacement tank this week, so I can start dialing in and enjoying it, especially capuccino's, as I can't be bothered making them my hand on my Breville Dual Boiler.
Btw, I've found the De'longhi "Signiture" beans to be significantly inferior to Aldi's Luxe's blend. The vacuum canister is fantastic though.
How are you finding the quality of the espressos? In the short time that I played with it, I wasn't happy with the espresso, but that was only using the De'longhi beans, rather than my go to premium Aldi blend. Having said that, I have realistic expectations next to my DF64 and Dual Boiler setup, which has grown quite involved, so I'm happy to sacrifce a bit of quality for a lot of convience on busy mornings.

Does the water tank leak when you take it out of the machine and fill it? The spring loaded nozzle on the tank is meant to be water tight. If it doesn't leak, then it's probably the connection between the "needle" on the machine and the nozzle on the tank. If it does leak, check the nozzle for any gaps. Either way, the replacement tank will probably work fine.
Another reason why I think the machines are made in 2021 is that the bluetooth device name is D followed by a serial number and my machine is D153XXXX whereas I've seen youtube clips where their serial number was D19XXXXX.
Yeh, agree that this was a good deal. It was $900 on Amazon not long ago and $850 at Costco before that. Happy with $809 and I got the Mothers Day gifts.
My fear with the machine was the the coffee would not be hot enough and weak. Happy to say that the coffee it makes are neither. The coffee is hot (guessing at least 90“C) and not watery. I drink Doppio's and Dinamica Plus is using the same amount of coffee that I usually use (14g). The pucks look fine. I have the grind setting at 4 which I am finding is good enough. I usually like a very fine setting, and was thinking I had to go to setting 3 but I think I'll leave it at 4.
What I have yet to do is dial in the amount of water. The max setting is maybe 5ml too much and the next setting down is way under I like, 30ml under. I have yet to try using the app where the water can be adjusted to the ml.
I went with the Dinamica Plus because it had app connectivity. Good thing it uses bluetooth as the Delonghi wifi connectivity is cloud based which means that when the service is taken offline, the function is unusable. Shame the machine does a rinse cycle on power on though.
That's probably the thing I found most surprising - the amount of water the machine uses. I am needing to fill up the tank fairly frequently. The tank holds enough for maybe 5 or 6 cups but asks to be refilled when the tank is still a quarter full.
Only things I'd improve would be that the pressure can't be adjusted and the water flow rate is set too.
I'd expect the Dinamica Plus to produce very similar/same coffee as the Magnifica S as they have the same internals. Have you sold the Magnifica or is the Dinamica Plus an upgrade? I think I'd be happy with a Magnifica bar the app connectivity.
