Strong disagree on this one, unless you have a cleaner coming daily.
I've set up automations for my robot vacuum to clean the common areas overnight, and bedrooms during the day, and it's actually been really convenient. Carpet is noticeably cleaner, and there's less visible dust on the hard floors. I've also found that there's less dust build-up on furniture and around the place, probably because there's less dust on the floors being kicked up.
If you have kids or pets, or you're home throughout most of the day, a robot vacuum running daily will give you cleaner floors than a cleaner coming weekly. FWIW, it's even better than when I used to vacuum every 2 - 3 days because it does a better job at coverage.
Obviously a robot vacuum is a luxury, but then and again, so is hiring a cleaner.

Does this model detect carpets and hard floors automatically? I don't want to have to set the mop run manually.
Yep, it vacuums and mops in the same run. If it detects carpet it will turn off mop, lift mop and just vacuum - handy for rugs on a hard floor.

I had Deboot T20 Omni before , had lots of issues with app and going offline few times a weeks and had to power Off and ON. When i compare with T20 omni , QRevo Max V is so much better! The Roborock app is much user friendly and so many extra option which i missed with Ecovacs. The extending mopping arm is very helpfull to clean the edges. Better obstucle avoidance than deboot. I have zero issues with QRevoMax V for the last 3 weeks and I would recommded it over Deboot.
I wouldn't bother with these cheaper ones. Lacking in features and reliability.

When the had a deal, i think all time low on these were 1100. Only difference from what i remember was the flex arm mop but really shouldnt be a deciding factor.
At first glance I thought $180.74 is a real bargain!
