        unfortunately it's true. This is what their pathetic price "beat" really is. It's basically useless but allows them to say "beat" instead of match.

      depending on your VW/Audi, if your engine is asking for the 502.00 or 505.00 then yes generally pre date1990's i think? however if you've got a newer type of VW/Audi (early 2000's to 2020) which is asking for the 504.00 and 507.00 then Edge 5w-30 A3/B4 is NOT suitable.

      check your manual but lawn mowers generally have SAE30 as the recommended oil

      I used this in my B&S lawn mower engine… although it is a shitter to start from cold… I don't think it's the oil though.
      chainsaw bar oil is thicker… I've never used motor oil… probably should give it a go.. I bought some bar oil from Aldi the last time they had chainsaws

        Quite possibly will work in the mower.

        Use the old you drain out, filtered, as bar oil.

    I never knew that petrol and diesel oils are the same. Always thought they were not interchangeable.

      Depends on the engine/manufacturer. E.g. VW 507 spec is only in the LL version.

      They are interchangeable in a lot of cases if you have a diesel without a DPF. If you have a DPF then it's a different oil altogether.
