        It was reported in 'The Age'. It is very common.

        There are stories in other newspapers too… Lots of gutter journalism if you do a search.

  I’ve tried several different types, and ultimately gave up. They let enough fine material through to eventually clog the gutter, and made it harder to resolve that. In my case, it was harder than the alternative of regular clearing.
  If you have very little leaf fall, and only gum leaves, they might be useful. But in that case, you probably aren’t bothered about the gutters!
