$55 to transfer out is too much.

    • $55 per stock too. Not per portfolio.

      • Yeah agree.

  • 🤣

  • “A$55 per AU stock.”

Per stock? per stock holding (parcel of a stock)?

    • It may be for manual stock transfer

      • Not sure what you mean? My query was whether per stock implies parcel of stock. I.e. 10,000 stocks each valued at $1.00 (treated as a “stock”)

    • Their example (fee is US$50 per US stock):
if you transfer two US stocks, such as BABA and AAPL, from Moomoo AU trading to an outside brokerage firm at the same time, the total transfer fee will be $100.

  • mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • terrible value compared to Webull….no thanks!

    • We bull looks to be 4.90 minimum for asx? This seems better value for smaller trades

  • For ASX Stake also doing $3 CHESS Sponsored, own HIN trades. 0.1% for trades over $30K where moomoo is 0.3% for over 30k.

For US Trades, moomoo has $0.99 platform fee. But does not include settlement fee, SEC fee, trade activity fee (whatever those are). For a USD$10K Trade, their fee calculator shows you are paying a total of USD$4.24. Where as Stake has a flat fee of $3. But when they list the comparison, they only say its $0.99 vs $3.

Also, Stake is an Australian owned and operated company FWIW

  • What if you transferred your portfolio into MooMoo and then sold the holdings rather than transferring out, forgetting for a minute any tax issues that may arise doing this? Then no worries around $55 transfer fees, am I right?

    • Yes, you're right. Although not sure it would be worth it.

  • Can someone please clarify “A$55 per AU stock” - this means bundle or company of an ASX stock and not a single AU share.

    The later would be unrealistic.

just noticed this in the terms and conditions. are y'all aware of this?

    • Good spotting, did anyone transfer from Selfwealth get the promo bonus?

I've emailed them to see if it is a mistake. That's a list of brokers used by Americans and I think it's too restrictive for an Australian promo. I think they've edited the terms and conditions for a promo meant for Americans and accidentally left this in.
