Sennheiser HD650 Headphones $360~ Delivered (Juno UK)

70

So I've been in the market for a pair of these badboys for a while now and I've been doing a lot of research on the cheapest place to grab a pair of these. For those that don't know they are an open style headphone (best for home listening, audiophiles, music producers etc) and have a very good reputation for their sound quality.

At one point they did get down to around $360 on Amazon but of course that is without shipping. Currently they are $490 on amazon but won't ship to Australia. I've also search various other price aggregators such as Google Shopping etc and I am yet to find a better deal. I'd be happy to be wrong about this being the cheapest price so consider this a challenge but I definitely think this qualifies as a deal.

Also those wondering if Juno are legitimate sellers - they are one of the largest/most popular dj/music stores in the UK and have been running for as long as I can remember. They would definitely be an authorised reseller so no worries there. You can get these for $370 delivered from Hong Kong on eBay but I definitely don't trust eBay for headphones. You can also get these for about the same price delivered from Kogan - personally I wouldnt trust anything but a dedicated audio store but that's just me.

PS: If you choose Fedex as an option you can get them delivered to your door in 2 days for an extra $40.

PSS: This isnt a sale I think this is just their every day price.

PSSS: There is a good chance these headphones will get a discount in the coming months as they are quite old & we have seen them drop in price before. This is still just speculative though.

PSSSS: You may need an headphone amplifier to get the best quality out of these although many say they don't use one & love the quality.

Enjoy!

As I said in the description :)

  • I find most headphones to be uncomfortable so make sure you try a pair on before you drop $360 on them.

  • Also consider the HD 600, which is older but preferred over the HD 650 by some audiophiles.

I have HD 600's and don't use them with an amplifier at this time. It's not ideal but they work perfectly fine. It will be the same for the HD 650s.

Also note that Amazon UK is currently shipping these, so if that's your preference it's there. Last time I checked the 650s were ~AUD$399 delivered.

    • HD-650 is somewhat harder to drive than HD-600 in my experience

Why are these headphones so bloody expensive? Not worth the money

    • Have you tried them? You might change your mind! I've had my HD 600s for over 10 years and they should last decades longer. None of this 'replace once a year' bull.

I rather buy a hifi system for that price.

Then you're in the wrong post! bye bye.

        • A $180 Hifi system eh?

          fix up.

Theyre so expensive because they are great for their purpose. Believe it or not these are actually cheap compared to some of their peers.
