          Are you serious? Can't tell..

Anyway, heaps of 'bargains' that make the front page are samples..

          MOVE ALONG.

        • +11

Freebies are the best part about OzBargain. Nothing is more of a bargain than a freebie.

        • +11

          Why are people so unkind…..

He took the time to post it for the benefit of others. He didn't have to 'waste' his time so that you can hammer him because you are a grumple bum.

He has posted 127 times and you twice.

          Thanks for post.

i was tidying some stuff before and i picked up a free stanley spanner, and happened to remember the top comment of the deal "i want it, just for the sake of having it" or something to that effect, much like this. ty OP

      • I see a line of cars and they're all painted black.

    • -1

you could also sniff it lol

  • +4

just in time for next week's room inspection. Now to do something about that missing wall…

  • +6

How many of these do you think I'll need to coat a house? Not my house… I just have some plans…

    • The pots look pretty small, maybe a couple square meters coverage if you're lucky..

So the next question, how big is the house?

      • +3

Just use 1% paint and 99% thinners. Paint the entire house for free :P

    • One sample is 250mL.

    • +2

      Humor is lost on some

I think two sample pots, a dozen eggs and eight rolls of toilet paper should be fine

    • Perfect for the doll house.

  • what type of paint is it?

    • +16

      Wet paint.

    • +1

Acrylic low sheen, most likely Wash and Wear.

  • +1

Awesome - completely no use for paint, but it seems like the sample bottles are quite large.. wouldn't mind some free paint lol.

    • -2

      large? they look tiny

  • Thanks.

  • One per email, doesn't seem to check address but not to say it will be done manually etc.

  • i wish i owned more houses…then I could have ordered more samples!!
Dulux probably gonna loose $100k with this promotion as it's on whirlpool and ozbargain!!
Want to see this post top 500 votes

    • you can get a number of orders sent to the same residential address, just make sure you use a different email address for each order/member of your family.

    • still way cheaper than a superbowl advertisment

    • Do you have a link to the Whirlpool post?

    • Dulux probably gonna loose $100k with this promotion as it's on whirlpool and ozbargain!!

Er no, they're running TV ads for it too. That would cost minimum 100grand just for the ads.

  • MMMMMMMMMM Free paint! Thanks OP. I just got me some.

  • Okay, so before everyone runs away with the free paint. But its Free. FREE!

Uh.. Can anyone tell me which of the 100 different types of paint this actually is - oil/water based/ indoor/outdoor?

From memory it might just be best to get the stock white (or as close to it) and take it to bunnings with your desired colour and get them to make it up for you.

    • I think they will only mix it for you if you buy the sample pot from them.
Good if you really need any of those 50 colours (or for some little projects)
They cost about $6 each at Bunnings and should be 100ml.

    • Sample pots are usually indoor water based.

  • +1

Free is free =D Ordered a few on behalf of everyone in my family… Just ordered a few funky colours for DIY projects (not hoping to paint any house with these samples!)

  • +4

    Worth filling in, worth Dulux.

  • -5

    thanks OP

can't wait to sniff the shit out of these ;-)

    then paint some crazy stuff

    • You are a true idiot.I think you have sniffed enough already and need some help.

  • Have entered all the details and the reCaptcha text but somehow keep getting a message 'incorrect recaptcha response'. Not sure if anyone else is having the same issue.

    • +6

      Are you a robot?

    • maybe your using a mac and your javascript been disabled. Or your using windows and a script blocker has been installed.

  • What could you possible paint with a sample pot.

    • +2

      A flower pot

      • +1

might be enough for a door handle of a cubby-house

    • +3

I am not sure if it was the same size as these ones, but I used a sample pot to paint an wooden outdoor bench and it was just the right amount of paint. Not technically the right paint for the project, but I did it about 3 years ago and it still looks good.

  • thanks my parents will find this handy

  • Out of curiosity, how much would Bunnings charge for a sample pot?

  • +6

    free pot ftw

  • Great freebie - we are actually in the process of choosing paint colours to repaint the house. Perfect timing.

  • +1

Dulux color, I read it as Durex condom. Damn, I need to get laid.

    • +9

asked my little girl to choose the color and she picked pink gin and airborne… well, it's free anyway.

  • -2

Oh what a future Ozbargainer in waiting.
    Well done dhie20

    • But Dhie20 could be living in SA or WA.

      • I checked his/her profile first before my comment.
        He/she from Vic

        • True, -30 min, is around 9:45, really depends how old she is.

    • +1

She might have chosen the color earlier and he just posted the comment now, who cares though, it's none of our business.

      • +1

  • +1

I thnk its a great deal if those 50 colours may suit your needs.
I'm currently painting and have chosen our colours so although free, I really don't need anymore paint cans in the garage so ill give it a miss so others don't miss out.

  • +1

Got Black and White to paint some protest signs

  • -6

    Cool. Got 8 pots.

  • +2

i got most of the white based ones as they will help to hide the abusive nature of my parenting

  • +4

Hey, I think this is a great deal/freebie.

However, I didn't get it because I don't need it.

    Crazy, I know!

  • +1

Well over 400 when I wrote this, I'd say we have a lot of budding "2-color artists" around… :-)

Choose Red & Black to paint Positive & Negative ends of wire lead terminals on a wooden battery box, in a at home or in a Maker Space. (Of course, Red alone would do, & you can choose a 2nd color for another application, or just Yellow for Be Careful, someplace).

  • Touch up paint for around the house! Thanks!

  • Before people get carried away with this, are these the standard sized sample pots or are they some tiny ones special for this promotion?
