[PC, XB, PS] Logitech G923 TRUEFORCE Racing Wheel and Pedals $479.20 & Logitech Driving Force Shifter $63.20 @ JB Hi-Fi

180

Seems like a good price for someone looking for their first wheel.. cheapest I've seen for this "new" model. Shifter has been cheaper but if you are getting the wheel might as well get the shifter.

Still better if you can get Harvey Norman to price match JB Hi-Fi before using LatitudePay for a further $50 off

      It is better*

$429.2 if you get to price match.
Still better at $449 without a price match.

  • I'd have thought the G29 (PS4/PC) would be better value as I "thought" certain commitments had been already made for PS5 comparability

Wow, this is the price of a Mitsubishi Mirage!! You'll get 4 wheels plus the stick shift plus it actually moves!! Lol..

I know it's not the same thing but if you're not in a hurry https://youtu.be/zCT2728F-rY

    • And definitely not the same price

No it's not but it's an option that wasn't there before.

Wow! Thank you for pointing this out. Definitely worth waiting to see how good this direct drive wheel is. It could change the entire market if it smashes all other wheels in the under $1k market for performance (rumoured to be released at around A$600). I was looking at $2k DD wheels and wondering how to explain it to the "wife of bath".

I no longer have an interest in a DD wheel since I've recently been informed of the risk of injury using one but it would be nice if it drove the price of the belt driven wheels down a bit. Doubt it though. :/

I suppose you also aren't interested in drinking water after learning about the risks of drowning. Good luck in life mate

@scottySK: Weirdly aggressive response to such an innocuous comment. Are you ok?

my belt driven wheel has more torque than the CSL DD, so you should probably stick to a control pad just to be safe. Hell, on more than one occasion ive gotten blisters from control pads. Maybe gaming isnt for you :)

          • @DanielP2: I didn't realise the CSL DD was low torque. My friend just linked me to a thread on iracing where people sprained wrists, injured thumbs, etc. I guess the CSL DD has a smaller motor than those.

            No need to be condescending.

@Diji: sorry i was just being a smart ass, didnt mean to offend :)
Those bigger DD wheels do have an emergency stop button for a reason after all, so ur not wrong about the potential for injury

as cool as it is that there is low end "cheap" DD, I dont think it will be replacing my CSW2.5
Even though it is DD and will probably give nice detailed FF, the actual torque of it is very very low compared to the more expensive DD wheels. if DMZ111 is correct about the expected price though, that is pretty damn awesome.

The previous gen logitech wheels were completely unmatched in their price bracket. I would have no trouble recommending it to anyone looking to start out with a sim racing setup.

That will end up being $700 delivered. Don't forget to add a $400 wheel and $200 pedals
