TV Riser Solution for a 65" TV?

My TV entertainment unit is 52cm in height, I think it's about 10cm to 20cm too low for a 65" TV on a 52cm entertainment unit. I sit in my office chair to game and watch TV. I prefer to look straight or slightly up.

Has anybody solved this problem with a reliable solution worth putting your more expensive TV investment on?

Plenty of options for table top vesa mounts.
Even a floor standing vesa stand and then you can back your etu on it.

Years ago I went the diy route as the above was not so common. Took a timber panel framed with pine 20x30mm lengths, screwed it to the etu using some 90degree brackets and fixed an aldi articulated vesa mount to it.
Bout a $100 and it looks great , held our 55" for years and now holds a 65" with ease.

  • I use milk crates to raise my TV. Why not wall mount it the height you want it so you can use your entertainment unit to display your fine china or whatever.

  • You can get a bit more height out of these stands

You sit in an office chair to watch a 65" tv? I like to imagine that it's a completely bare room, with just the tv on a fantastic furniture stand, and a single office chair.

    • That's what I used to have in apartment in my early 20s when I first moved out. All my guy mates understood that's all I needed.

  • stack some ikea lack shelves? 5cm increments, colour of your choice etc would be fine with just a few blobs of blu tack to hold them, as long as your tv is level

Any leftover White or Yellow Pages from the 90s lying around? They would've been perfect!

  • I got these as I needed to lift the TV to fit a larger centre speaker in front

    Does the job well :)
