OzBargain Does Not Render Properly on Samsung Tablet A7 Lite SM-T220

A couple months ago my Samsung tablet stopped rendering the OzBargain site properly.
Not sure if this was a site change or a firmware update. I do not have any problems with any other site.
I notmally use Chrome but installed Firefox to see if it had the same problem: it did.
The site renders correctly in landscape but in portrait everything is squished into the left half of the 800 x 1340 pixel screen.

What is your resolution set to?

      Lose 5kg.

      • Well I hope it's more successful than my resolution.

          Poor Mrs Muzeeb….

  • Have you tried turning it off and on again?

    Resolution is 800x1340
Yes I've rebooted many times, cleared cache etc

    • There is a setting in developer settings for the horizontal resolution/pixel density. Might need to adjust that.

No resolution option for this tablet, however I had zoom set to -1, changed to 0 and OzBargain now renders correctly.
Thanks for leading me to the solution. Dunno why zoom should lead to such weird behaviour and I don't remember changing it

Just get a new Tablet from OzBargain…

    • I love my 8.8" tablet (even though it's underpowered). Most newer tablets are huge and expensive.

It has been discussed a few times before — OzBargain desktop mode does not render properly in portrait mode in many browsers with narrow screen. Try manually set to mobile mode instead.
