  • Can you get this deal if you’re already with them?

    • Have seen on the other deals that some people have been able to call up and add the NBN discount offer to their existing plan, so you might be able to as well in this case? The offer does indicate it's for a "sign up" but can't hurt to try for existing customers!

    I signed up to More NBN a while back because of the CBA discount, and within a couple of months they jacked up their prices. Can't recommend them because of that.

      Not defending More, but wholesale NBN price increases came in a few months ago for the lower speed tiers! So a pretty much all NBN retailers had a price jack

      I got the opposite. The 100mb price was $99 for 2years then they decreased to $94 a year ago. So the discounted price I was paying decreased from 69 to 63ish.

    • Can existing users have this deal? How does the discounted rate work?

      • You receive a unique code sent to your CBA app with Yello, it's only for new activations however. You could try your luck with customer service to see if they can add the code on an existing service, however this is technically against policy. You receive the discount off the initial RRP plan you sign up on, for 12 months.

      It seems the latest T&Cs disagree with this comment, made by More Telecom associated, suggesting

      the discounted price is locked in for 12 months, even if the user has their CBA Yellow in a lower tier during the 12-month period.

      Shall the price be locked or not if I would be in a lower tier? Has the policies been updated in the recent 2-3 months?

      The T&Cs (More Telecom policies -> CBA Yello Everyday Plus Mobile T&Cs):

      To maintain the discounts available under this offer throughout the 12 month offer term, you must continue to meet the eligibility requirements of the CommBank Yello Everyday Plus benefit set and to pay for your discounted More mobile plan with an eligible CommBank online bill payment method (see section 18).

      [s17.] If you cease to meet the eligibility criteria for the CommBank Yello Everyday Plus benefit set (as outlined in the CommBank Yello Terms and Conditions) at any time while you are receiving a discount under this offer, this may result in you forfeiting any remaining portion of the First Year Discount. Access to the offer may be revoked at any point after you cease to meet the eligibility criteria for the CommBank Yello Everyday Plus benefit set, with the cost of your plan reverting to the RRP current at that time subject to an ongoing 10% discount as long as you continue to use an eligible CommBank payment method (see s 17).

      I think so, the NBN voucher was one time only, I signed up with the voucher, and then decided to cancel the sign up, and now the voucher is no longer applicable. I would expect the same thing for mobile.

      Edit: just tried, you can't add 2 services to your order when the code is applied, you can't use the code after it's been used.

      • Hi mate, did you manage to redeem it with more than 1 mobile service / number? I've only just now been able to get it to apply to 1 mobile number, not more than one. I read that T&C clause, and they seem to apply it, as each $10/15/20 discount code can only apply to 1 individual mobile number at a time, and in total you can have max 5 discounts running across all your mobile services. (EG you use a $10 code on 1 plan, a $15 code on another, and a $20 code on a third number; or maybe lucky and get an OB to share their code).
