  • Hi trade in offer is not showing during checkout

    • Thanks. $100 trade in only available for some models. I updated the listing

      • Most OLED 55" and above bought within 6 months from today can get $100 and that's such a fantastic deal since all are worth nothing

    • For your considerations-> https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/15192864/redir

MINI-led: QN85D is SLIGHTLY-better than C845, & imo is NOT worth 50% PLUS the price.

  • The 55” is $539 delivered using commbank yello

    • Wow how? When I go through commbank it only pops me to a specific cammbank special site whereas nothing is discounted and I could not login my original samsung account. Is there any trick to go edu store through commbank?

      • You can’t buy as it’s out of stock now.
But from the commbank app clicking the 10% Samsung claim offer link it loads a page where you can scroll down past the extra 10% off image and choose tvs and it’s there for $599 for the 55” q60c and at checkout using a commbank card it was 10% off to $539.10

        • How do you get the extra 10% off?

        • +1

Thanks, ordered one, through commbank app yello. $539.

"Get stock alert" - looks like all gone.

    • It seemed to cheap to last very long

      • Probably 1 unit and it’s gone. Not worth an ozbargain plug but these OLED models might be good deal if u wana spend 2k+

  • Out of curiosity , how do you get an .edu.au email account if you are not enrolled into a course\uni ? tx in advance

    • You don’t. That’s the point of them using the email address.

      • lol, it's like asking how do you get a MIL or GOV e-mail without being in the military or government…

    • Some universities give thier Alumni a permanent .edu.au email account even after graduation.

      • all university staff right down to the photocopy boy and the biscuit lady all have edu emails.

  • Anyone own this TV? Would you recommend?

      Anyone own this TV?

      Lots of people.

    • I love my serif but mine is an older one from 2021

  • How is their customer service?

    • +2

Horrible. The only way i got customer service after multiple attempts to resolve an issue with them was to perform a chargeback on my credit card. Then they were suddenly interested in helping me.

Samsung is the most complained about electronics company according to NSW fair trading .

      • +1

Samsung invests zilch nothing in Australia- all their electronics glossy store front - all run by contractors/ casuals from third world countries, unlike Apple who actually hire people buys the stores they retail at, no commitment to this market from Samsun too small for them, they can up and leave just pack and go no staff except for fat cats executives that you will never meet are permanent - all staff from call centres to retails store all contractors even the store front itself is contracted all can be fired overnight and pack and go when time gets tough or invasion in the south pacific.

      • Samsung is the least committed name brand to the country of any name brand in Australia, they could not be bothered they just here to make a profit and then could not give 2 toss about service or support let the third world contractors deal with it. But USA is different they've build Samsung towers there, samsung academy etc .
in other words Australia retail market means nothing to them so much so they would not hire permanent staff invest in nothing, and let the customers deal with third world contractors. in which, they would never dream of doing that to USA Canada or their own market.

      • They do sell the most electronics so it would all sense they get a lot of volume compared to other brands that sell less units. It’s a numbers game more than anything

    • you need to knock on their door at the olympic park head office

  • Don't forget to use your amex offer

    • Which cards got this offer? Can't see anything for mine

      • I got it on both amex discovery and amex biz

  • Q70c 55 is only 799 preorder though 21/5

    • thanks. Added to the listing

    • Chances r it goes from pre-order to out of stock.

    • Got it for $564 with amex offer and $100 trade in, now have to find a broken TV to complete the trade in.
Did delivery for 1st June to give me time to salvage a broken TV from council pickup

      • AMEX T&C stated that Amex offer won’t apply to preorders.

      • can you send broken tvs? I thought it states it must be working? This would be great if so! :D

        • +1

Dunno. It asked if it was in good working condition. I said no. Still offered $100.
Otherwise wasn't planning on going ahead with the purchase.

          $560 for a 55" 2023 qled is a steal

      • Yay, sourced a 26" TV in reasonable physical condition. Now they have pushed delivery for 55" Q70c to after 1st July. Anyone in similar situation.

    • How long does it take til pre order get confirmed?

  • Been looking on Samsung edu site regularly and they tend to have insane special prices but tend to be for out of stock items. Usually 25% off when u actually might find something in stock. I would thumb up this deal but I doubt any of these really cheap items were even purchasable

    • +1

I got one so it was purchasable. Let’s see if it actually turns up

      • I got the 70c pre order. Do you know how long these orders take to become comfirmwd?

        • +1

I got an email almost instantly
And I’ve got a delivery booking notification this morning
Earliest delivery was about 10 days when I ordered

          • +1

@choofa: I’m talking about the pre order which was from 21 May

  • Comparing 65” The Serif White against the TCL 65” C745 (or C845), thoughts on which may be the better choice?

  • Trade in down at the moment.

Is it better go with google TV or just buy separate setup box (apple tv or chromecast) ?

    Thanks
