How would you do that. Their price match policy says you have to buy first at listed price. Once shipped, you can request price match and it will then be refunded. This means you will still have to pay half of the amount using your card

Have had them for a while and had the loose fitting issue. Bought SpinFit CP1025 & CPA2 tips as suggested online and it nearly fixed the issue in full (for my ears anyway). Got them from Amazon. Ignore how it doesn't list pixel buds. They fit them too. (Can find mentions of it online)

  • got this one from Telstra deal. Not bad for a wireless bud. Used mostly for online mtgs.

  • I have Google Store credit. And just requested Google price match. What are my chances with Google Store?

Someone above said you need to purchase and then request a price match refund

For those in my position of having Google store credit and wanting to buy the buds on Google store, I managed to get a price match with Google, it was quite easy.

Ordered the pixel buds first. Paid via existing Google store credit + credit card.
Hit up support for the price match.
They responded within a few hours.
Got the refund to my credit card within a few hours.
The rest of refund was credited as Google store credit.

Best part…I have a Google one subscription, so actually gained an extra 10% store credit on this purchase.

Bad part… A bit of hassle with support, having to buy at full price first. The expiry date of the old+new applied store credit is also at the old expiry date (a few weeks time for me).

Hope this helps people out there who want to spend their existing Google store credit and wondering about the refund process.

Thank you to OP. I was waiting for a deal like this.

    • Just clarifying, Google will preferentially refund you by credit card? I was worried that when you pay for an order with store credit + card, Google would refund the store credit first in the event of a price match.

In your case did you only receive some store credit back because the price adjustment was greater than the amount you paid with credit card to begin with?

Highly recommend at this price point. Also, if you're worried about latency, don't be (other than Windows PCs maybe). Not had any issues and can watch video on my Samsung phone without issue, and I'm pretty sure it's good on my MacBook Air too. I don't know how they do it.

  • Good buds. ANC is ok to listen to music, but for work calls may be unreliable depending on background noise (e.g. cafe ok, bus no good).

My left one started having issues (buzzing noise) just before warranty expired. They replaced with the new one (though you needed to purchase, they held charge, you then needed to arrange for pick up of the old one).
