Have had protein mousse and were sweet as hell. But I'm someone who doesn't have sugar in his coffee.

      There are mixed views around casein, particularly given some folks can have trouble with it.
      
      I'm no expert but I'd argue just use whatever your preferred whey product might be before bed as well, so long as it's not itself high in sugar. If you can happily get through non flavoured variants so much the better.
