  Oooft I'm after a new grill. Didn't realize the price of traegar is so high.

  I want something durable. And am moving from kamado style smoking to try pellet feeder.
  Btw this is a traegar pro vs pit boss navigator.. I'm sure the timberline is superior but I'm not parting with that much for a smoker

    I’ve had a Traeger Pro 22 for about 2 years now, never had an issue and have cooked some great stuff on it, it’s pretty versatile in my opinion but I still use my Weber for searing etc. Can’t imagine there is much difference to the pit boss. Once you get a pellet grill don’t pay for Traeger pellets, they’re massively overpriced and only flavoured wood.
    I don’t have the WiFi version either, but I have coupled it with a 4ch WiFi INKBIRD temp probe and a WiFi controlled power outlet for emergency shutdown if we are out during a cook and temp goes over my backup internal temp setpoint.

      I already have a wireless thermometer . I have the meat stick X which works great.. is the traegar pro doubly insulated. ? I think that might be a very important consideration as I don't believe the pit boss is.
      Also I just buy the matador/samba chunks but I noticed a 30kg pellet bag in Costco for like $20

        No it's not, just single skin. Having just replaced the motor in my traeger, I can tell you it's the same part for pit boss so they're probably quite similar in build all round.
