ORIGINAL POST

Not sure whether anyone is still interested, but I'll just leave the discussion here. It was a massive fail last November, then server stayed up but sales disappointing in May. ClickFrenzy is going to run an End of Financial Year Sale event on coming Tuesday for 24 hours from 7PM. Some of us might want to keep track all the relevant deals here.

If you are posting them as a "deal", please also tag "ClickFrenzy".

    FailFrenzy.

Our regular Ozbargain deals are much better than the stuff that come up on OverhypeFrenzy.

    • +13

Yep. Clickfrenzy does have a purpose in the scheme of things though. It's there to make us realize how good ozbargain is :)

  • +1

Well they did get clicks, and they did make a lot of money. So it was a success I guess, for them.

  • Tontine has 50% storewide. Just got the email.

    Meh.

    • +5

      Meh.

That sum it up pretty well.

      • Does that mean you didn't buy anything?

        • LOL…of course not:p I've spent $$$

    • top "10" ??

  • Hopefully we'll start to see some deals around 7pm tonight.

  • They managed to keep their website up in the Mother's Day click frenzy so I think they should be able to keep it up again. So the pressure is on the merchants to keep their servers running — if ClickFrenzy does indeed generate a lot of traffic for them (which I doubt would be as much as the first time).

  • Lenovo's already got the link up http://shopap.lenovo.com/au/en/deals-and-coupons/click-frenz…

brick007123 posted a deal already http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/108031 over 7 hours ago

  • House online is offering the Kitchenaid Artisan mixer for $599 delivered:
    https://www.house.com.au/ProductDisplay.aspx?productsearch=k…

Edit: Red was previously at $749, has since been included in the sale.

    • Looks like red is an option now?

      • Yup, looks like it's been updated.

    • Good price for Aus stock. In non sale times, can be had for about $650

    • Bought. Wife will be happy. Better get something out of this ;)

  • +7

I dunno about you guys, but i find most of the prices on site are just discount off "overly marked up" price…

  • +3

    • Edit: the page has updated now.

The 16GB Wi-Fi Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 for $399 at Bing Lee is a good price
    OzBargain Post

    • +1

Just bought it. Anyone know how is Bing-Lee's shipping time to Perth??

Some of the deals on here aren't bad actually- well worth a look to all those skeptical.

      • If you go to Bing Lee delivery info

Scroll down to How long will my delivery take it says you will be provided with an accurate ETA at the checkout.

      • wonder if OW price matches them!

        • OW seems to be Online Only for the Note 10.1

      • I bought the samsung galaxy note 10.1 tab for $399 with free shipping from Bing Lee, not bad.

  • +1

Oh gawd, why doesn't it just die?!?

  • +1

    Crap frenzy as usual

  • I will be having 50% off my ozbargain time tonight… Another massive fail frenzy. Time to watch tv.

  • +3

These kind of sales are full of it. For Example, Chemist Warehouse, I went and saw Blackmores Glucosamine 1500 180 tablets in store yesterday for $36.99 which was more expensive than a chemist nearby selling it for $20 and on their CLick Frenzy sale they have the original price as $57.95 marked down to $27.99. Hardly a bargain and isn't this some form of false advertising?

    • +1

Another one, Huggies Jumbo Nappies 90 Crawler is SRP $41.95 and you get it for a massively reduced price of $32.99. That's their exact retail price in store so where are these supposed savings?

    • +1

      Yes it is Fracknporky
It's called bait advertising , the ACCC do not take kindly to it.
Although I see much of this on the frenzy.
Its unlike this site , where the locals keep everyone honest lol.

    • U Can get 1kilo of glucosamine on ebay for $40 delivered.

  • +2

I might add another. In the first Fail Frenzy, The Shaver Shop offered 50% off a Made in USA Wahl clipper; I rushed down to a retail store to buy (yeah, yeah…)

Then I saw that the price has stayed the same ever since then. Fool me once…

  • iconic 50% off sale+ 20% off code when your purchase is over $99

  • +1

On the whole, the sale looks like a lot of fluff but so far 6 (soon to be 7) deals have hit the frontpage.

  • +1

not very exciting to me at all, find better deals on ozbargain and from the US every day

  • I've missed out. Life got in the way of the click frenzy and ozbargain :,(

    • +1

You gotta sort your priorities out…..Bargains come first!

  • I ended up not buying anything from this sale.

  • mmm, I haven't grabbed anything either.

  • I signed up for the $25 masters discount. That's all from the sale.
