  • Crash, ozbargained!

    • worked fine for me

      • sites D E D .. DED! lol

  • Yeah, it's dead now. Server errors 502, 111, 503 and 404 - truly Ozbargained.

EDIT: Got in, was unimpressed. Florsheim don't bring their Imperial line into Australia, and the quality on the last pair of standard Florsheims that I bought was disappointing. For cheap shoes that will last a year or two, it's not a bad deal though.

I agree with you that the quality is not the best, however as mentioned for the price they are not bad.

    • They don't bring in the Imperial line?

I bought 1 pair from the Royal Imperial line and 2 pairs from the lower end Imperial line? The heels look a bit more durable than the standard lines - though they'll still wear and they aren't exactly dainite soles.

    Yep. Got in too.

I always buy 2 pair a year and I usually get the Comfortech range (http://tinyurl.com/ozbcomfortech). I am on my feet a lot and I make sure to air them and use a shoe tree (http://tinyurl.com/ozbshoetree)every night to make them last longer and reduce the creases.

If you are still having trouble getting onto their site then you could do what I did and call David Jones and ask them to price match. Don't forget that Florsheim offer free delivery as well so get DJs to do the same.

      Hey thanks R3b,
That Shoe tree thing is crazy, (I mean good crazy) Two shoes usually last me a year anyway, do you notice a big difference in their performance by putting this on.

I know some of the books recommend having two pairs and alternating them so as to give them time to breathe.

Thanks also for the tip about DJs will check them out.

      Site is working well now.

      • Hey Dealman.

Not sure if it makes a big difference in terms of wear and tear as I tend to go through 2 pairs of shoes a year anyway. I only started doing it about 5 years ago.

But I can say that it makes a difference in terms of reducing the creases that I used to get. Quite considerably. The shoes look much smarter for much longer plus it also makes it easier to do the polishing with the Kiwi nugget.

The obvious benefit is that it geatly assists with airing/drying the shoes thereby reducing (or removing) the stinky foot syndrome.

And yes I do the daily rotation of my shoes to increase their wear & tear.

        Cheers, R3b3l.

        • Thanks. Do you know if there are any better places to get trees? They're still pretty expensive from florsheim..!

        • Hi there, I got mine off ebay. Heaps around and pretty cheap.

        • cool thanks!

      Ozshoetrees, what a R3b3l.

  • Site is working well now.

  • Thanks, Great quality shoes. I've tried all of the other brands at the similar price range and they wear out quickly. Bought a pair from them last time they had a sale about a year ago and they are still in perfect condition.

  • One thing that I dont get on their site is the sizing, is that 9 UK or US size?

    • UK. Says it on the page with the sizing chart that website and in store use UK sizes.

  • Thanks, brought a pair to rotate with the ones I got during their 30% sales.

    Just bought 2 pairs :)

I also went into their boutique store and no sale there. The staff confirmed that the online store is separate from the retail stores. Several customers asked as well.

Nonetheless, everyone just tried shoes there lol

  • What's the deal with returns if it doesn't fit - do they include the return paid bag? Seemed a bit cagey on their FAQ about it. Anyway bought two pairs - hope they fit!!!

  • Awesome, stocked up on a pair of Comfortech Grishams

  • Where are they made?

  • Been waiting for this… just picked up 4 pairs in the morning.

They aren't the best quality shoes, but I like some of the styles and for the price they are throwaways once they look ragged.

Almost tempted to pick up another spare or two, seeing as the 50% only comes around once or twice a year.

  • Thanks OP.
