Ultimate Ears Super Fi Triple Fi 10's $169

These were on offer last week (a week ago exact I think), I grabbed a pair, yet to receive. I have paid for them and have an invoice but no shipping email. Anyone received theirs yet?

  • Just FYI guys i got an email today saying they won't honor the IEMs (despite invoicing me and taking my money).

"Thank you for placing an order on the Logitech online store.

We are aware that you have ordered the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10 from our website. In a short period of time, there has been an enormous number of orders and the system was not able to show the inventory status in the shopping cart real-time. Due to this system error, I regret to inform you that we will have to cancel your order.

Logitech values you as a loyal customer and to compensate for this incident, we are providing you a Discount code. This code will allow you to place an order from our website with a discount of 40%."

I wonder if this happened to anyone else…

  • I'm assuming you paid via Paypal? Did they refund you straight away?

  • Yeh paid paypal express, get this;

"Since you've used PayPal Express as the payment method, please be informed we are working on the Refund process. We will contact you back for further updates once this has been completed.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. We hope that this won't deter you from patronizing Logitech products."

  • And just like that I get the exact same e-mail as you.

Not going to bother with Logitech online again, even if they give me their 40% code.

  • Yeh, sucks huh. Man i'm depressed, I think I'm going to bid on some Sennheiser IE 8's on ebay lol

  • Careful, very very high chance you will pick up a fake pair of IE8/IE80 on eBay.

  • Really? Whatcha rekon of these? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Free-Ship-Brand-New-Sennheiser-IE…

    1hr to go…

  • Guarantee they are fake. Any IE8/IE80 from China/Hong Kong on eBay almost guaranteed fake. The price is too good to be true as well. Save yourself some heartache, don't risk buying the IE8/IE80 from eBay.

Domestic sellers on eBay just as likely to sell fakes.

  • Wow, thanks for the heads up… guess i'm sticking with my Soundmagic E10's.
I grabbed a pair of XBA3's from ozbargain during that crazy Sony 85% sale awhile ago, but they kinda had issues..
    http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=72595 (I'm Bruce).
I have XBA2's also, but I prefer the E10's to be honest.

I want to try summin better than E10's but not shell out a small fortune. $169 for Triple Fi 10's was a no brainer but tbh even that was pushing my budget.

How the hell are folk getting away with selling fake Senny IE8's anyway? Cant Senny do summin about that?

  • eBay are slack and don't seem to care because they get their fees regardless. Not sure why Sennheiser doesn't pursue it but there will always be fakes flowing in somehow.

  • That's amazing I had no idea, all that effort to get what is really a very close copy! Far out, now I'll never bother buying them cuz i'll never know! lol

  • How do XBA4's compare (to UE Triple Fi 10's), seen them for $160…

  • No idea unfortunately, never heard the XBA4.

  • k. Nvm… I'll keep hunting and waiting for that ozbargain newsletter to arrive 7am so I can order some bargain IEM only to be dissapointed in it never arriving :D

  • Haha good luck with the hunting, now I have to find another reasonably priced iem.

  • I was seriously considering using the 40% discount code logitech gave me to grab a pair of UE 900's (bring pricedown to $300), but then I realised that ain't a special price at all, a quick look on static ice and i see many retailers selling it around that price…
They need to do better than 40%, more like 70%!
