Why are you so desperate to get rid of them when there is such an excellent mark up to be had?

How many have you sold other than the 14 ebay is reporting on your listing?

    • +6

about 7K units sold so far over approx 12 months. Most through wholesale and OZBargain deals. Storage costs are eating into profitability. We've found around 10 cartons of the 512Mb model gathering dust up the back of our storage if anyone interested.

Are any of the devices known to be faulty?

  • -7

I'll buy three for $15 shipped to NSW. You can take it out of the package.

i think you're maths is as good as this deal….

    • +2

I should have emphasized the word quickly. At $29 we're not moving them at record rates. A check on Terapeak shows AVERAGE Price of $15 inc freight with 99 sold over 30 days.

      • add clip-on backs & sell 'em for $50 each, eg, to folks who record discussions, debates or multi person performances in noisy venues.

(Conference of folks promoting Energy from Thorium use similar devices, clipped to shirt collars. they really work.)

  • Rep, last time I bought these the ear mic that was listed as being bundled never came with the two I ordered. This page also claims to have the ear mic included. Is that a false listing?

    • +1

My one did have the ear mic.

    $29 for a 1GB mp3 player. Yeah okay.

    • +9

cmon, fair go. It's a voice recorder primarily, comes with dragon naturally speaking 2008, Can record from it's FM radio and plays mp3/wma.

I bought one of these recently from your website for $10 shipped through an old ozbargain link that was still active - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/100504

It's a pretty damn good voice recorder for $10 and the lapel mic quality is great.

    • +1

Yep, I bought one of these a year ago in another ozbargain deal. Excellent mic quality - use it in a language course I'm doing.

    • +1

Yep, I'll vouch for these from JJ too.
Great value recorders that do what they say they will.

  • From my view they should not be trusted. I ordered the last deal of two voice recorders for price of one and never received anything from them even after 2 months.

I called them quite a few times and every time reply was Aus post is short of parcel packages hence the delay in post is not their fault. Bad of AusPost they were not able to stock parcel packages in two months - they are not able to support a small company not sure how they will support Australia ;)

In last call, I was told that my package has been shipped long back and may haven been lost by Auspost so not their fault.

My suggestion, never buy anything from them.

Did you get your money back? If not, call me on 02 80024725 tomorrow (our 1300 number is down right now).

      • +1

No I havent. No reply to any of my emails. Finally I filed case in PayPal. Lucky I used PayPal.

I bought a recorder from these guys a while ago and I received it within a few days. Very happy with it.

  • +6

i think my mobile phone has a voice recorder in it.

  • Rep,
I may be interested in some of the 512mb models depending on cost and freight. If you could advise i will let you know.
    Regards David

  • Anyone in Adelaide want to go halves in a box?

    • +2

      For shits and giggles?

      • +1

You can keep the shits, I'll take the giggles.

  • +1

At least it looks like you have cleared all those 512 mb ones!

Good luck, but I don't know if the technology is really applicable these days. There are so many other electronics that have the same feature plus more. It's like those portable cameras, they are so cheap now that most people have a 5-10MP camera on their phone. It's only the large DSLRs with large lens that are still maintaining a good price.

rep this kinda thing is what catch of the day is for

to liquidate junk to naive buyers

  • I bought a 4GB Transcend thumb drive with FM radio and MP3 player for $10 about 1.5 yrs ago at Capital Square. I wouldn't dive in and stock up 1GB ones for $4 now…

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transcend-MP330-Player-Direct-Record…

  • Paging Broden to this deal…

  • -6

    Bought one last year.
These are a real pain to use with tooally unintuitive controls.
I can see why they are clearance items.
    Dont buy!

  • We'd like to do a group buy & split in Adelaide. if shipping is within reason. OP?

    3 others needed.

OP should be able to help by shipping, insured… win-win.

    • Best to call me 02 80024725

The last Ozbargain deal, I bought 2 and received 4 :). Thanks. These recorders should not be too hard to use if you are old enough to know how to use a walkman. Of course, it will be too hard for the spoilt kids that only know how to use touch screens. RTFM (read the f***ing manual, for those people too old to understand these acronyms), FFS.
