Or you can have them in your business where people can tap them to open up the manufacturer's webpage to provide more information on the product you sell allowing your staff to serve customers instead of answering mindless questions!

    • This is an excellent suggestion!

Just to comment, this type of NFC cannot be used as quasi-business card.

I am still struggling to find whoever can advise which type of NFC can be used as business card so anyone who can suggest would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

It depends on what you intend to do with the tag. For example, if your intention is to simply direct people to your business URL, most NFC tags will suffice. However, if you're looking at loading up a vCard (a relatively memory intensive function), then you're perhaps better off checking out some Mifare NFC tags or some Topaz 512 NFC tags (these will fit a small vCard). We've got both on special here:

      https://www.whiztags.com/product/android-nfc-tags-10pack/
      https://www.whiztags.com/product/whiztags-10-pack-topaz-512-…

Our Topaz 512 tags are sold out but we are taking back-orders.

The main difference between the two is that the Mifare tags come with a large memory capacity of about 716 bytes of writeable memory but are not compatible with all NFC-enabled devices. The Topaz 512 tags have approximately 450 bytes of writeable memory but are compatible with all NFC phones.

      Hope this was helpful.

        Much appreciated thank you Reps…

I am looking for NFC for Vcard application so Topaz 512 may be ok for me since I need it to be compatible to all NFC phones.

EDIT: Reps, could you suggest a Vcard writer for this type of NFC? Thanks

  • Hi Rep,
I live in Sydney, can you please tell me how long will it take for these tags to get delivered?

    • We send everything out in no more than 24 hours on a business day. Anything purchased before midnight will be sent out first thing tomorrow morning. We'll also be having a postal run later in the afternoon tomorrow for all orders that are placed before 4PM tomorrow.

Since we're shipping from Sydney, you should receive your order in approximately 2 business days, although it's really hard for me to give you a firm date given that the holiday season is upon us and that the mail tends to become more unpredictable in the lead up to Christmas.

      Hope I was helpful.

  • Reps, I placed my order a few days ago for Topaz 512. Although it did say backordered, I also got a "Shipped" notification. Should I ignore?

    • Hi there,

All Topaz orders were sent out today as we've been able to restock earlier than expected. We're expecting delivery by Australia Post for Topaz orders to begin from Monday.

      Hope this was helpful.

  • Hi rep,

    I
My order says it has been shipped but I am yet to receive my order. Order no is 2142. Where are you guys based?

I am in Melbourne if that's any correlation

    Thank you

  • Hi there,

We're based in Sydney. Looking over the sent date, I'd probably give the order another day or so to arrive with the chaos of the holiday shopping rush. If nothing shows up, please shoot us an email at: http://whiztags.com/sayhi

It'd be a pleasure to follow up the order for you.

Hope you have a great weekend!
