I really tire of you constant derision of MBC. If it wasn't for us creating some competition in the market place then these offers would be at best half of what they are on MBC as they were before we started.

You constantly fail to provide the facts, we charge a $10/year membership from earnings and then all moneyback earned from then on is 100% of the commission rate offered from the networks/merchants ALWAYS. The other sites have different business models and they take a proportion of what commission is earned, still upto 50% in some cases, so they don't need to take a membership as they are taking a proportion of earnings every single time you make a transaction.

I think posting a thread from a website which is effectively in competition with OzBargain is bad form to say the least.

If it is your mission to remove MBC from the market place and let other sites slowly increase the proportion of the commission they take well you're going the right way about it.

    Rant over…

    Steve.

    • Steve, it should be pointed out that MBC no longer charges the 20 cent fee for transferring into bank accounts. I think hotbabe (the OP) still thinks that MBC charges that fee.

    • "I think posting a thread from a website which is effectively in competition with OzBargain is bad form to say the least."

Ozbargain has no competition - it's a site where we good people find good bargains and post them. Come off it…

      • Well. You are right about saying "OzBargain has no competition" — anyone spotted a "give us your details to win XYZ" style competition (rather than a genuine deal) posted on OzBargain should instantly -1 them :)

Good on ya Steve. I'm one happy MBC customer and here just to give you my two thumbs up. :)

Competition is great. It's good for users to be able to choose which model best meets their needs

  • link not working

  • DO NOT USE BUCKSCOOP

I used Buckscoop to redeem this deal, and they're telling me they didn't receive the click through for it. There's no other reason why I would sign up for this account if I wouldn't have got the $45. Bunch of liars.

Avoid Buckscoop, it's just not worth the risk.

Next promotion, I'm going to try MBC.
